((OOC. Liquid time to shortly after the meeting.))

It had been stupid, reckless and in the end he had known he shouldn?t bother. Still despite what the golden woman had told him that the cobalt man was gone but still Gitan had had to make sure. Taurig had been the first real friend the man could attest to and while he had not been nearly as close as Maija was it still had been a blow.
He had been hesitant at first, unsure as to if he ought to go without first letting Symphony know, in the end he had slipped from these lands without announcement. Now that he had returned he had come to regret that decision. How could he claim to be any better than the cobalt giant when he too had abandoned his family with no explanation? Guilt was eating him up on the inside.

So it was that the earthy toned man finally returned home, though it seemed it had changed when he had been away. The scents of the pack were still there, though stale and clearly the main body of the pack was there no more. For a moment the man hesitated, would Symphony even still be here? With a deep breath the man stepped once more into the mangroves and headed off in the direction of his mate?s den.
The scents here still smelled heavily of Symphony and their children, clearly the white woman had decided to keep her old den and a small smile played across his features as he approached, unsure if anyone was there at the moment but giving a small bark just in case.

She had returned silently back to her den, mind buzzing with the events of the meeting. So Song had returned to claim her crown back? She was glade her parents weren't in charge, they needed a break a time to just find peace with their age and live for as long as they could. She also wondered how much longer she would be able to hold onto her children, only two of the three sat with her. They were growing in size and independence and part of her was scared she'd lose them soon. She took a shuddering breath as she entered her den with Atlas cooing in her ear softly to comfort her. The owl and wolf need not speak words to know what the other felt, their body's said it all. Together they checked over the stock of herbs, tidying up the area.

It might not have been much longer since she returned to the den that a bark sounded outside. Ears twitched, did someone need her assistance or was someone hurt? She slowly turned around to walk out of the den but as her front half emerged she froze. There standing in the sunlight among the mangroves stood the most handsome male she ever set her eyes on. His green pools cautious but hopeful, his fur soft, his scent so familiar. A small gasp had parted from her lips before she rushed forwards to bury her face into Gitan's chest. Oh how she had missed him dearly. She whined softly, unable to control the relief in seeing him again and her unlimited love she held for him. Pink tongue lavished his face as she kissed him tenderly, eyes brimming on the verge of tears."Oh Gitan, my love..I've missed you.." She whispered softly.

It took only a moment for a small, ivory form move half out from the den. Gitan felt his breath catch as he drew in the sight of her; it had been much too long. He heard a small gasp and then she was moving towards him and he braced to receive her. Her face pushed into his chest and he licked the top of her head. She pulled back with a whine and began to place kissed upon his face. She whispered tears sparkling in her eyes. ?Shhh,? he cooed giving her a few gentle licks upon her cheeks. ?I missed you mon ange?
For a moment he allowed himself peace in their embrace. His question burning in his mind. Finally the man pulled back a bit and cast his gaze about. ?Think the kids will show up?? He wanted to see them. Make sure they were all alright, he trusted Symphony to have taken care of them, of course, still he had missed them.

The boy was making his way to the family den, hoping to find his mother or Sorrel there. The meeting had gone underway, and now F?li wanted to catch up with his family. His father had been gone a while... But the boy was sure he?d come home someday. He wouldn?t abandon them, couldn?t. There was doubt in his mind that his dad would be back. When he was his mother would smile so much more too, and they would be happier again. Not that life was bad in Ludicael, but maybe he was starting to feel the bits of distance too. That or he was just being overly worried about it. More-likely the second.

But as he neared the den he would see a sight most wonderful to see. His father and mother, sharing a moment of love between them. F?licien would have let them be but... He longed to see his father again as well after all the time. The yearling would bound to Gitan?s side, eyes bright as the boy gave his father a hug without any hesitation. ?You?re home!? He would exclaim happily, tail wagging. For a moment he seemed much more like a young pup again instead of a yearling, filling into his adult form nicely.

It wouldn't be the first time that Sorrel had found one of his parents missing for a length of time, he hated the family being apart though it wasn't the absence truly that bothered him. His mother had been rather seriously wounded during her time apart, they had no way of knowing if Gitan was alright and of course the boy would worry for his father. What if he was injured, unable to return to them? Symphony was certain that he would return some point in the future though the pessimistic Destruction-Gringoire child couldn't help but think of the worst, the bad things that may have happened to keep him away.

Not too long after the meeting however the familiar voice of his father would sound once more in the lands. It wasn't the loudest of calls though Sorrel was certain that it was Gitan. Eagerly he would rush to meet him, hoping to discover no serious wounds, it may have been a good practical lesson, though he certainly did not wish to see his father injured. Fortunately he seemed ok though and Sorrel would move to join the family in embracing and welcoming him home.
