Body tired, and feet aching as she hiked through the bush. It was a bearable pain, but her lungs were urging her to stop, they were screaming out as she swallowed every last breath she could. Her knees caving in as every joint in her body grew sorer and sorer, but still her legs carried her malnourished body through to the Mile-High Woods. The sun was shining against her white fur, and going through to her skin. it felt as if sharp daggers were pointing into her. She felting the stinging sensation in her back as the sun burnt through to her flesh.
She knew she was close, she knew she was nearly there and that tiny bit of determination was just enough to get her to the border of Bevroren. She had traveled a huge distance on no food and a short supply of water. Her pads bruised and cut from the twigs scattered upon the ground. Each step was weaker, each step was smaller, but she was there. She stood for a moment looking into the distance and just reminiscing the days she had lived with pack, hunted with them, ate with them. They were always around. Roselle longed for the company of another, and she raised her head in pride, acknowledging how much persistence it took for her to get this far.
Her legs were shaking and her ankles cracked as she collapsed onto the ground, still concsious, but barely awake. She forced her eyes open after every painful blink, but she knew that all this struggle and all of this misery was worth it in the end. Soon enough all the misery and all the pain would be over, and she would live her life in peace once again. She spread her body against the morning dew on the solid dirt.
