Navigation: Kamui Delta

Ashe couldn't take it anymore. She was an explorer, a wanderer, and she had been for a long time. She couldn't sit in the pack anymore, and she couldn't be around...him. The boy reminded her too much of what happened that night, and she wasn't allowed to forget it every time she saw him. She still hadn't told anyone about that night, and she wasn't sure she wanted to. Her fear towards males wasn't as strong anymore, but she couldn't be too careful right?

The girl made her way towards the array of rivers that swept through the east, though she was disappointed to find that it was shallow thanks to the hot summer heat. Still, she wanted to explore this place and maybe see if she could find anything of interest. So the girl took to wading through the shallows of the water.

ooc: exploring Kamui Delta

The world was filled with misunderstandings and cruelty. It had been a long time but the tiny male had learned that through sheer experience. His only friend was a rat - someone he was dearly close to ever since he turned into a year old. Meeting her after he lost his hearing. Tally was his crutch as to say. For he didn't use his voice as much as he did anymore, as years went on Nia had forgotten what he sounded like. Though he had become very adapted to reading lips and trying to balance the voices in his head.

The male stopped when his two different colored orbs spotted a female wading in the water. She was only slightly smaller than he was, maybe by three inches. He thought he was small, well that was how it went. The world surprising him. As Tally tugged on his ear, it was a signal that perhaps they should move on, but he was caught in a trance watching that small girl. He wanted to talk to her. Eyeing his companion, she got the note that he wanted to greet her.

Nia got closer but still remained a air distance away. "Excuse me ma'm? What brings you to these rivers today?" the small rat asked sitting on top of Nia's head. As he watched Ashelia, it was to see if she would speak so he could understand. Considering his world was without sound, he had found other ways to deal with this.

Speech,

The small woman felt relieved as she waded in the shallows of the cool rushing water. The summer heat had been way too hot this year, and since she'd been staying in the east, the humidity always made her fur prickle. But here, the wind brushed her pelt and the water soaked up to her belly. Dual toned eyes searched the shallows, not quite sure what she was looking for in particular, but maybe there would be something interesting! The rocks were certainly worn down to perfectly round and smooth stones, varying colors of greens and light blues and oranges. The were interesting enough to catch her attention, and for a moment she thought about picking out the prettiest ones she could find and stash them away in her den.

Just as she was about to dip her face into the water to grab a stone, a small voice nearby made her jump, causing water to splash around her as she startled. She turned to find a small pure white male farther on the bank, but...was he the one that spoke? If it was him, then he sure had a funny sounding voice! Then she spotted the little rat with him, and her tail slowly began to wave back and forth. "I'm exploring! What about you?" Was he here to look for flashy rocks too?

"You could just tear her in half she's so small" Nia flicked his ears in annoyance. It wasn't often that he met wolves so small. Though he was only three inches taller - on top of that he didn't look like anything intimidating. At the moment he wanted to focus on her, his eyes staring as she spoke. So she was exploring? Perhaps if she would allow he could join her. He smiled towards Ashelia. His tail wagged lightly as he flicked his head upwards to let Tally know what he wanted to be said.

"We were just about to explore as well, this is Nia and I'm Tally. Nia is deaf so I help him. He doesn't talk much." Tally said on top of Nia's head. "He wanted to know if you'd like to explore together?" The rat settled on the middle of his forehead. Nia's two different colored orbs watching the younger girl carefully. It did seem like she was vulnerable out here, so if anything happened he could at least make an attempt to protect her while out exploring.
