It's morning when he leaves the house, making his bed neatly-- gotta leave it tidy. He'd spent the night on a lush mattress in what would have been one of the main bedrooms of the house. It was dark when he came in, so he'd be able to see more of the house... later. For now, Poser was hungry. He was more than hungry, but less than ravenous. Out into the forest he made his way, head high as he traipsed. There's something about him on this day, there's something... strange.

This grove, it smelled... different. It smelled strange, and it felt lovely. The tzar moves across the ground, head high, not slowed by his mangled forepaw today. It's not damp enough to be truly sore, but he... he feels different. Light shimmers down, catching the morning mist and scattering its shine in all directions. Rested. That's the difference, he decides. Poser doesn't feel as terrible as usual, and a night in a real, comfortable bed? Well. That was heaven. The forest still left him feeling funny.

But funny was okay when there was a rabbit skittering by, fat and slow. Poser doesn't think twice before running to pick the creature off, dismantling and ingesting it quickly. It's painless, and he's full. He'd be good for days again, and maybe days more than that. What a lovely morning it was to be in a forest so strange.
