Brrr! A particularly frigid wind whisked past the young girl, rustling her fluffy tan coat. Feeling her pelt tingling as a shiver took over, she paused in her brief journey away from her den and around a few pine trees. The air seemed to be getting a bit colder, and today it was.. what was this stuff?! She watched, eyes widening in wonder as a few stray snowflakes drifted down, landing on her nose. Her eyes crossed briefly as she tried to focus on one large flake, but it melted as it hit her nose. Whoa! The girl's tail wagged in a furious motion behind her, a loud giggle escaping from her throat. She wasn't sure if she was even supposed to leave the den.. but everyone was asleep and she didn't mean to go far, anyway. She cast a glance over her shoulder, eyeing the family den for a moment before continuing ahead, from one tree to the next, feeling as though they might keep her safe and somehow not get lost - it made sense in her head, at least. The snowflakes seemed to fall from the sky more quickly now, and she rushed forward, snapping her jaws at the sky as though trying to grab a few.. but they disappeared as soon as they landed on her tongue, much to her disappointment.
