Gettin a little chilly out here

Sandpiper didn't want to stray too terribly far from Abaven, but she still wanted to get out and do a little exploring! As long as she was able to get back before dark she didn't see a problem with it. She paused as she walked through the slender trees around her, tipping her head up so she could look up through their branches at the clouds that were drifting past. She didn't see any signs of rain, or with this kind of chill maybe snow, so she was glad she was out enjoying the nice day. Bringing her attention back to the woods around her, she scanned the area and wondered how big this forest was. The ground was littered with dried up leaves and she was sure that before too long they would all be hidden under the snow. The days were getting colder and colder all the time. She couldn't exactly say she was too excited about winter coming, but snow was pretty fun to play in all the same. Piper kept padding on through the forest and glanced from tree to tree as she walked. |
