Yona knew she wasn't stuck to one place, but it was so damn cold she wanted to stay within the cove. She had known her nomadic wolves to stick to caves and other warm areas during the winter. However she had an itch she needed to scratch and that was moving about. So the girl had wandered to the edge of the beach. A smile on her face as she watched the water roll in from the ocean. Always a nice feeling as she shivered slightly, maybe running would do her body some good. Yona would crouch, before letting her paws carry her in a take off. Trying to reach the top speed that she could as she smiled running across the beach. Feeling the wind blowing into her fur as she did. Though she soon stopped, pulling the breaks as she watched sand flying out across where she had stopped herself. A small laugh leaving her - one of her favorite things to do was play in the sand. Armai had left her den that morning and instantly regretted it. There seemed to be a lot more snow than normal and it was colder than ever. A shiver traveled up her spine as a cold wind seeped right through her silky coat. She'd never admit it out loud to Xephyris, but a part of her hated it here in the north. The north was where she'd lived with her family, though she'd never call anyone but Calder that, and it was freezing. She still missed Myriad, but Peregrine had long since ruined that. She appreciated having a home here in Vyper, but overall there were things that needed improvement.

Nox was out hunting, which didn't surprise her since this was Nox's favorite time of the year, so Armai traveled down to the beach. It was the only place that didn't really have any snow since the winds pushed it all back and the waves destroyed any remnants of it if any did manage to fall onto the sands. It was a place where she could walk the easiest without tripping over something or running into anything.

It seemed she wasn't the only one who wanted to go to the beach.

She heard someone running, then skidding to a halt (she assumed), and then laughter. Well at least someone was having fun. She didn't recognize the voice though or the scent though so she headed forwards and stopped what she presumed was a safe distance away.
