Come Alive

Spring really was here, the sun beating down in all its lovely warm glory, the grasses growing tall and green as ever, even some flowers beginning to crop up here and there. Trotting through the waving lengths of verdant plant life at an easy pace, Caelum took the time to enjoy her surroundings. She was getting better at this whole unwinding and relaxing thing. Of course there'd been a time(more recent than she'd really like to admit) when she'd started to be plagued by nightmares again. It left her tired and her mind was momentarily consumed by her worry about all the darkness that consumed her unconscious mind. All that didn't matter not though, because the sun was shining and she was awake and fully able to appreciate the little things like how lovely it was today.
She kept near to the edge of this vast expanse of grass, not wishing to wander too far into the unknown where one could hardly see a few feet in front of themselves. She wasn't really interested in getting hopelessly lost today. Catching the scent of a rabbit Cae sank low to the ground, crawling forward until she could make out the form of the little brown creature. She continued to sneak closer, waiting to get to a good spot where she could leap onto her prey.
