Do you remember when rain used to fall from these skies?
Turning her head to lazily peer at her den opening Valdís twitched an ear as the sound of rain slowly stilled. The morning was cool and cloudy and it had been raining for a better portion of the night and well into the time the sun was supposed to come up. It had ruined her plans for early morning training in navigating the more treacherous paths of the maw. In time she would need to learn to do it in all kinds of weather but for now she was going to take her time. No point rushing into it and cracking her head open. She doubted Chaos would appreciate her spilling her brains everywhere so she opted for caution. She could get back to training when things dried out more.
Yawning Valdís slipped out of her den. Rain or not though it was time to get patrolling. Shaking out her coat she started down on her usual path down the west side of the territory as the sun finally began to peek out and the birds began to sing. It was a lovely day all and all and her thoughts drifted to her new packmates. What were they up to this morning?
