The boy had met with Epiphron, and she had spoke of seeing his two litter mates. He had not heard of Isolde yet, and his mind was set on finding either one of the two. Though it was an odd place to seek for his family, the male would set foot in dark ash that used to be a flourishing forest. He would set his nose to the ground, sniffing gently but sneezing to the ash that fluttered up his nostrils. And only then would he shake his fur before raising his neck and letting out a low cry for the presence of his siblings. His sapphires would come down and try to see through the hick air, looking the horizon for any of them. Even Maverick.
