What's the Truth?

So Lillianna made a split decision after Sparrow ran away - Lark was closer, perhaps knew the same amount of information, and Lillie knew exactly where he'd be, and Sparrow probably did not. So, she'd go to Lark first, and after that, she'd definitely head to Bass. It probably would be better to head to Bass first, but if this could be resolved without the alpha's involvement, that'd be nice.
Somehow, Lillie doubted that would happen.
She headed towards where Lark was by his den, knowing that he was likely not to move from when she left earlier to get solitude. Well, that certainly didn't work out. Either way, his scent grew stronger and she stopped by his den. "Lark? This is a bit urgent." She left it at that, because adding on 'this is about your sister Sparrow' probably would result in him thinking she was dead. She wasn't dead, just deranged. And a munchkin. Ah, well.

Note: Lillie has scars over her right eye and down her cheek. She also has scars under her chin and on her jaw. Her tables and art will most likely not reflect this. Unless it is specified otherwise, assume Lillianna is accompanied by her companion.

It'd been a good bit since he'd had any real alone time with Lillianna. Part of him was totally freaking out over the whole thing, since every time they spent much time together they seemed to be acting more and more like a couple. It was a good thing, but weird and he hadn't quite figured out how to feel about that. Luckily, these thoughts were far from his mind today as he lounged in his den, only half-awake when he heard someone's approach.
He hadn't expected Lillie to seek him out today. Wasn't too surprised that she did, though. His nose twitched, eyes blinking open slowly as he roused from his sleepy state. He groaned something incomprehensible as he pulled himself to all fours, padding to the den's entrance to peer at her. She'd said something about something being urgent? A slight frown pulled at his lips as he watched her, wondering what could possibly be urgent. "What's up?" Lark inquired curiously, cocking his head slightly to the side - at a loss for what it could be. She seemed in a bit of a hurry, but not completely panicked so he figured it wasn't an awful emergency.. right?

Always sleeping? He rolled his eyes in feigned exasperation, shaking his head slightly. "Hey, some of us work hard around here and deserve some sleep," Lark quipped in return, though truthfully he hadn't been doing that much as of late. Definitely nothing that made it reasonable for him to be sleeping all the time, but winter was upon them and he was happy to use reserving energy for the season as an excuse.
Sparrow? Instantly his thoughts went to the worse-case scenarios. Was she okay? Why was Lillie coming to talk to him about this, instead of someone else? The story came out quickly though - it wasn't that she was in danger or needing help or anything like that. But.. she'd been running away from Lillie? He frowned, tilting his head in confusion. The story didn't make a whole lot of sense. Sparrow had been acting like Lillie was going to attack her? Running from her, and snarling at her? It didn't sound like his sister at all. "I.. don't know," he answered simply, unsure what could cause his sister to react that way. Truthfully he didn't know as much about her as he wanted - she'd come and gone quite a bit from Abaven, and he didn't have the slightest inkling as to why she would hate Lillianna. His frown deepened slightly as she went on.
"It's not really any of my business," he said finally, his voice less confused and flatter now, uncomfortable with the story and its implications. Lark had no idea why Sparrow would act so strange around Lillie. "But she's also not a.. deranged munchkin or whatever you said," he went on, his voice a bit more defensive now. He didn't like hearing anyone insult his siblings, especially wolves he cared about too. "She's my sister, and I doubt she actually wanted to scare you or hurt you." Right? Though there were quite a few things he didn't know about Sparrow, he felt fairly confident that she wasn't the type to hurt someone for no reason, especially someone he cared about.
"I really don't know why she'd be weird like that though." It was obvious that Lillie was uncomfortable with it all, judging by her expression and body language as she spoke, but he had no idea what to do about it. It didn't seem like something he'd be comfortable confronting her about, especially when it really made no sense to him. "Have you thought of maybe asking my dad about it?" Lark shrugged slowly, not sure exactly what he was expected to do or say.

It'd been a long time since he'd felt uncomfortable, even slightly, in Lillie's presence. It wasn't pleasant to hear her talk about Sparrow like that, though, and his frown lingered for a long while. Lark had always felt fiercely protective of his siblings, no matter what, and it was strange to realize that Lillianna probably didn't like Sparrow.. maybe it was because of how Sparrow had had acted to her, but still. It didn't settle well with him regardless, making his stomach twist uncomfortably.
She seemed.. unsatisfied with his answer. What was she expecting him to say, though, honestly? He wondered if she knew how little he really knew about Sparrow - Lark figured she would've grown out of disliking Lillie just like he had. Lark found himself sighing when she said she didn't want to get Bass involved. Maybe it would be easier without involving him - surely it was just a misunderstanding, right? "I mean.. I guess I could bring it up to her," he offered after a moment, his words accompanied by a slow and uncertain shrug. Discussing something so vague and strange with his father didn't sound all that fun, if he was being honest.
Talking about it with Sparrow didn't sound fun, either, but he didn't want either of them to be pissed off, especially at each other. Still, was throwing himself in the middle of it a good idea? Another sigh fell from his lips at the thought of the confrontation. He expected Sparrow to insist that Lillie was just being dramatic, but.. what if there was some truth to it? His nose wrinkled slightly. "I know you said you had no idea why she was acting weird, but.. are you sure? Maybe something happened that you forgot about?" God, women made no sense to him, and he frowned as he examined her inquisitively.
