The northern lands had the wet, cold feeling of snow similar to that near the lands of her homeland... and these southern lands were so dry and hot that it left her mouth feeling constantly parched as she hit dried stream after dried stream. Finally, though, she had heard the roar of water and followed it here, to a place seemingly unaffected by the harsh dryness that seemed to infect everywhere else. It was... rather nice. The water cascaded from the top and hit the water with a force unlike any other, but where she was standing, it was calm. Pristine. Gentle waves splashed up the rocks, but that was about it. And yet, the base of the falling water was brutal. Eh, well, she could drink here. The softly glowing woman dipped her head towards the water, drinking her fill before stepping back and laying down by the base. Okay, this was a really nice spot... a spot that could almost let her forget that she had yet to find anyone else of her tribe, that Phoenix had wandered off somewhere and that Uldormun's other child had also disappeared shortly after she met him. Ugh. |
