Got Nothin' On Me

She had been trailing along the borders, on the outside of the borders. And she felt rebellious! She had just turned a year, and now that she was a yearling she was free to explore the world beyond pack borders! She was excited, and she was going to take advantage of this newfound freedom! Her father had gone to find her twin brother so he could take them exploring together, but she didn't want to wait anymore. She had waited months! And now that she had the chance, she decided to go on her own. As she sniffed around the borders, her ears flicked at the sound of a howl, but she didn't know who's howl it was. Bi-colored eyes rose to see her mom heading towards the borders, and with a furiously wagging tail she decided she wanted to be nosy and check out what was going on. Without them knowing. Grinning, she sneaked along the borders until her mom and...a big red wolf came into view, and she laid down hidden in a bush and listened to some of the conversation. Had she been paying full attention, she would have caught the seriousness of the conversation. But of course, she had the attention span of a goldfish, so she only caught some of the things like tracking someone down, and north and oh look a butterfly! Quietly, she slipped away and headed away from them, going back towards her previous spot until the butterfly flew up and away, too high for her to reach.
Frowning, she glanced back in the direction of her mother, half wondering who it was they were talking about. Had some family gone missing? Were they planning a trip? A race? OH! A race sounded awesome! Tail wagged furiously again, and she decided she wanted to race! Maybe that's what they were doing!? A race to the North!? Yes please! She had always wanted to see the north where snow never melted, at least that's what her dad told her. So without waiting further, she decided she would do the thing and join the great race to the north! |

Jewell was busy trying to find Aldric again today. Perhaps she was getting annoying but she didn't know because he never told her. Though the French girl was okay with this whole arrangement. She was still learning English and surprisingly copying others and such helped. She was a season older now, a season smarter and more bilingual. She moved quickly, thinking she had heard Faite ahead, perhaps she knew? Sure they couldn't openly communicate but Jewell felt they were getting to understand each other better. She picked up the pace, jumping from out behind a willow tree to come face to face with the red streaked one, one of those that was two kids. She bowled into her accidtally and stopped when she came rolling into an upright position. Her forepaws were between outstretched legs and her tail out stiffly behind her. Well that was one way to greet a friend. She righted herself and shook her pelt out, before going to see if she could help the other girl up. She wanted to apologize but what was that word for it? She knew somewhere in her head but it was escaping her. She looked up thinking hard and mumbling French words for each one, until yes that was it. "Apalgiez." her word might of been butchered but she had tried. She looked at the other girl and gave a smile.
Faite as Jewell's guardian is allowed in any and all her threads regardless of the tag. She may enter as she see's fit.
All of Jewell's French will have a span title over it, hover for translations.

The girl wandered about, clearly distracted with the butterfly she had found, that kept getting closer and flying away, getting closer, and flying away. She chased it towards the trees, and before she knew it, she barely saw a flash of color before she was knocked to the ground. She fell on her face, a tangle of legs as she heard a thud behind her. Dazed for a minute, she gazed up to find the rainbow form of her new friend Jewell. "Apalgeiz." Kairi stared up at her for a moment, still somewhat dazed, though when she pulled from that her tail wagged. "Hi Jewell!" She pulled herself to her feet, the yearling placing a sloppy lick on the other girls muzzle. "Watcha doin' today?" She knew the rainbow girl wasn't too good with her language, but she figured it was best to just speak naturally and help her out when she needed it. Maybe they could even teach each other! Oooh! She'd be ecstatic to learn another language so she could throw it in her brothers' faces! Oh yes, that sounded like fun! Walk, "Talk" Think |
