After his attempt at looking for his family up in the north, Pyre was all too eager to get back down away from the coldest temperatures. However, that didn't keep him from trying to go a different way from the way he came. If he hadn't seen them on the way up there then he probably wouldn't see them on the way back, right? He made his way around the mountains toward the shore, but the farther he went the more he realized this was probably a mistake. It was like taking the path of most resistance back down toward the south. And then a pack border came into his path. He stopped in his tracks when he realized how close he was to the strong scent of all the other wolves and he frowned. His dad and told him and his siblings about what a pack was and made it very clear that they were never supposed to go into one without permission, but this pack was right in his way! It'd take him so much longer to go all the way around it! He huffed with annoyance and sat down on his haunches in the snow with a soft thud. He was already sick and tired of traveling around. He wished his dad and sisters would just show back up so he could stop looking for them. |
