Fern would soon arrive just seconds after Faine did, the older female suggesting a technique for their hunt. Faine nodded easily, “That sounds good enough for me,” she said, as she didn’t mind really making the kill or anything and she moved around to see if there were any rabbit holes so she would know where they would be coming from. Her carmine eyes trained on the ground and muscles tense for any sort of movement as she would wait for Fern to do her part of the hunt. Today, they would massacre some rabbits, but all so they wouldn’t starve, right?

Fern trotted onto the grass, flattening tendrils beneath her paws. When there was no rustling in the grass, she grinned, ready to rumble. Things were about to get wild.
"Catch as many as you can," she called over to Faine. Fern tended her muscles and leaped, up in the air, and crashing down on the ground again. She didn't stay down for more than a split second before jumping up again. And so she continued, hopping up and all over the place, scaring out any prey that resided there. She saw a couple furry shapes bolt across the grass in all directions, but they weren't her problem. Fern focused mostly on her own motion, making sure she covered every bit of that area until it was all trampled and there was no way a rabbit could have stuck around.
