Gwen trotted along the birder, her head high but relaxed and her gait loose. She was enjoying her patrol despite the lingering snows, with the knowledge that spring had finally come and the sun's rays would soon melt away the last stubborn bits. She had even taken the time to lay out more rocks along the border as she patrolled it, which was a far less onerous task than it had been in the dead of winter. Regulus' call caught her attention and drew her away from the border. Faint concern touched her, though her pleasant features betrayed none of it. Last meeting, the first she had been part of since joining, he had revealed that several pack members including children had gone missing, and none of the search parties had managed to find the pup before the hard snows and killing cold had settled in. She, who had never and could never have children, felt the loss keenly for the two grieving parents. She could not imagine what it would have felt like if she and Lanse had managed to bear children, only for one to be taken from them so young. She wasted no time before joining the rest of the pack to wait for Regulus' words.

Weary paws and stumbling steps had not yet taken Justice back over the border from her mission to Talis when she heard Regulus call for a meeting. She sighed, stared longingly for the den where she knew her mother would still be catatonic. She wanted to just go curl up by her remaining parent's side and be comforted, but she knew there was no comfort to be found there. Instead she shook herself to clean her coat of some of the journey-dust and turned her path toward the meeting place. Flopping down next to her brothers and dropping her chin to her forepaws, the youth stared moodily forward at the alpha and waited. Fable wasn't there yet, and she felt a flash of anger at him through the numbness that had continued to plague her.

A howl was heard, but the boy had no idea what it meant or who it was. It wasn't until his mother gathered his other siblings to get up and go, his lip lifting slightly as she seemed to forget he was there. He thought for a moment that he'd been forgotten, knowing his mother doted over his stupid blind sibling the most. He almost thought about ignoring them all and staying in the den, but then his eldest brother Chasm seemed to remember him and he felt a little better. Nodding, the boy rose and followed his brother to wherever they were going, and once there he sat beside his brother. He peered at all the others gathered, not a single face recognizable to him. Were all these his pack mates? Some of them looked....interesting. He wondered which one of them would be interesting enough to be worth talking to, or asking questions and learn from...he supposed he'd wait and see.

ooc: Since it's been 3 months I'm assuming this isn't happening and I'd prefer to wrap up my threads with exits so just posting to close this out. Call him back if it's happening.

Seabound and Aimless at Best

Dómari tried to wait patiently but it seemed like the meeting was taking forever to get going. As more and more wolves poured in Dómari was beginning to see the sheer size of Celestial. For awhile it seemed like everyone was there but they were apparently waiting for a few stragglers. Either way Dómari was anxious. He had some herbs he was tending to and he didn't want to let them set for too long. Perhaps this was just a socializing event? Regardless of how much he wanted to get to know his fellow pack members he had work to do. Quietly excusing himself he left to go take care of work.
