Protector of the Realm

It wasn't necessarily that he liked the idea that his mother was out searching for their missing members, but it did strike up some thoughts in his mind. The last time he had really practiced any fighting techniques with anyone it had been with Faite. He had been practicing on his own, but that wasn't really the same, was it? There was no one around to tell him if he was doing it correctly or poorly. He could only launch fake attacks at plants for so long before he began to wonder if he could actually hit a wolf with any of his attacks if he tried. He felt like it was up to him to help protect the pack in his mother's absence and he was woefully under prepared! Of course he knew he was just one of several wolves who would be tasked with this, but in his grandiose view of the world he was the sole protector and what a lousy protector he was. He set out to find his father with these heavy thoughts on his mind. He had no idea if Zell would even want to help him train right now or not, but maybe he could just voice his worries to his father if nothing else. He hadn't really had the chance to have some one on one time with his father without his other siblings around so now seemed to be as good a time as any. Breasal followed his father's scent for a while before he finally spotted the red-marked figure he had been looking for. He let out a quick bark to get Zell's attention from a little ways off and picked up the pace to catch up with him. |
