She groaned as her mind and body began to stir from her slumber. Stiff and painful she still was not fully healed from the raid and still unable to cope with complete darkness all the time. The healers were doing their best to heal her physical wounds, but her mental and emotional wounds she felt were way beyond help in her opinion. She had remained in the communal den instead of her own, keeping close so that the healers were nearby and could treat when they needed. She had been in this hole since the raid and it was taking a toll on her.

She wanted to get out of this hole, but how would she manage to move around? She got to her feet with her nose outstretched. Moving slowly forward she did her best to try and not run into anything. She did her best to slowly find the wall, then walked against it fallowing the wall. She wasn't sure which direction she was going, but she hoped it was her way out. She moved along slowly letting the wall guide her. Soon though she felt the warm rays of sun on her face and knew she must be at the den entrance.

When the wall ended she knew vary well she was outside and right now that was all she wanted. She moved forward and away from the den entrance before laying down in the sun. Maybe some sun would help her feel better.

Since the passing of the raid Rasiel had become more determined to do more for her pack. The young female wasn’t sure where to begin though… but today had lead her near the communal den, where some of the injured still rested and were receiving treatment after the raid. It didn’t take her long to see Acapella, the one who had received the hardest injury in her opinion. The poor thing had been blinded in both eyes… whereas others had only been maimed in one. Rasiel felt herself shiver a little, swallowing hard as she approached the female. She felt guilty that she hadn’t been there… hadn’t been able to help her friends and family.

“‘Pella…” Rasiel’s voice was soft as she called to the older femme. She approached slowly, hoping that she wouldn’t startle the other. Rassie canted her head to the side, examining the other. Her posture suggested sadness within her heart. “Would you mind some company?” The younger female asked softly, not wanting to disturb the other femme if she wasn’t in the mood.
