Sparrow had been pleased to learn that Brandr had held a hunt. She wished others had been more active in the pack. In fact, she had wished she had seen more of a pack.

They needed to look out for new members. Sparrow had decided it might be good to get some fresh blood in the pack. Someone who wouldn't carry over all the past of Abaven. Someone who could grow and flourish in the new Abaven.

She also knew, however, that she needed to encourage the old members to be active too. A lot of her life, Abaven had been quiet. Even her father had never seemed to be able to rally the members up and have them be an active pack, much less a family.

Sparrow crawled out of one of her dens and shook herself. It was time for patrol.
