can barely breathe

Ooh, wow. The great big crater yawned before her, a sight to behold. It had been a trek through the mountains to get here, but it was so worth it. The ebony marked girl started to descend into the bottom of the crater. The winds didn't howl today, but a storm was brewing. It wouldn't be long before she needed to go back home. Mama and Papa would be worried if she wasn't home before the storm hit. Even now, the dark clouds were rolling ever closer. This would have to be a quick trip.

Every day she got more sure footed. Keeping her sea foam gaze locked on the ground beneath her paws, she took one careful step after another. Not that she made it all that far before something caught her attention. Stopping, she lifted her head to look behind her. A scent on the breeze was coming towards her. Then she spotted her little sister, Dominika. "Dom! What'cha doing out here?" She called in question, but was smiling nonetheless. "Didn't know you leave the den!" It was all in jest, and she wagged her tail to emphasise that. She trotted up the incline to meet up with her sister. They could make the trek down to the bottom of the crater together.
