Wonderful World
Her paws ached.
Perhaps it was the tiredness, the fatigue settling in. But as she traveled and wondered; the air grew colder; bitterly against the pelt that was thinning in time for Spring. Yet here, in this strange land, it felt like Autumn. Glorious colors of brown and orange littered the forest floor that was thick with moss, dots of deep red and pale yellow rippled into the familiar Autumnal scene that made her head Spin. But Tauriel Loved Autumn! It was her favourite time of year. The crisp, crunchy sounds that her paws made under-paw. The chill in the air that was enough to wake you, stir you from the slumbering Summer. Prey became more active and alive. And of course, it was the last chance to stock up for Winter. "Is this forest always cold?" Upon her travels, Tauriel had experienced two lands; filled with many different places. So many places to explore! So many opportunities. "If only Mother could see me now." Ha! Their short-minded, boxed thoughts were burned, open and trashed to the ground. Tauriel could survive on her own. She would do so just to spite them. Spite all those who frowned upon her. In this land she would make herself known. Not dictated by a war she had no interest in.
With a hefty sigh that parted her maw, pale eyes gazed to the crisp, light blue skies above. Birds, streaking their dark shadows against fluffy white clouds bellowed their calls. Dancing from tree to tree. In this Cedar Wood, all seemed to serene and tranquil. But Tauriel liked it! The rush of a racing river caught her attention next, finding its source to be a cascading Falls. Slowing her rapid pace to a slow walk, finally a pause; now that she stopped her legs ached and only now did she realize the toll that traveling took upon her body. With a huff, she slumped to the leaf-strewn floor; finding solstice in the weight taken from her legs and paws. For a moment, her eyes closed. Her ears remained perked on-top of her chocolate-tinted skull; for now she would rest and let the rippling waters lull her to sleep. The leaves would soon tell tale of another striding by.
He decided to venture away from the castle, his body ached from his bruises that lingered but asides from that, he was nearly fit. Kimahri and Shiva walked alongside him, guiding him around the falls. He hadn't been here very often, so it wasn't as familiar as the shimmering shore or the castle, or the starlit plains. His tattered ear flicked, tail waving gently in the air as he moved. While he may have lost his pack, he certainly hadn't lost his spirit. He was working on getting stronger, smarter, soaking in information and the world around him. His other senses were stronger now, and he was amazed at how much his sense of smell and hearing had sharpened. Sighing with contentment, he heard the sound of the falls up ahead, a light smile gracing his muzzle.
For a brief moment, he wondered if he'd run into one of the Abraxas here...with two of their packs in Auster, it felt like they were around every corner. He hadn't had any trouble with them, though. Asides from the challenge for his pack, but he held no grudge against Ashiel. Packs came and went all the time from strangers, friends, and acquaintances alike. Besides, he was kind of enjoying not having so much responsibility on his shoulders for a little while. He felt he could truly relax and just feel...normal.
Distracted, the earthen male walked right into Kimahri as the Jaguar came to an abrupt halt, putting the former alpha on his rump. "What's the matter?" Kimahri flicked his tail, whiskers twitching as he tasted the air. "We're not alone here." Dragon scented the air, finding that there was in fact, another wolf nearby. It wasn't an Abraxas, that was for certain. He was sure he had smelled them all, or at least most of them at the challenge, and this one had no scent similar to theirs. He decided then, why not find out who it was? Moving ahead, the scent of the she-wolf grew stronger, and when she came into view, the trio paused a couple of yards away. Instead of bothering her though, Dragon moved towards the water for a drink first, not wanting to startle or frighten her by straight up approaching. Besides, what if she wasn't in the mood for conversation anyway?

Dragon never goes anywhere without his Dragon armor, assume he is always wearing it unless otherwise mentioned! He also has a pair of seeing eye jaguars, assume they're always present unless otherwise mentioned.
Asteroth. The fleeting cries of her family echoed within her head. The weeps of her siblings, the shock of the Kingdom that seemed to fall under deathly silence. He bertrayal had ruined the proud O'Sidrain's of Asteroth. She had become a deserter; a loner, nomad. She was no longer a Princess, but simply one of the common folk...
Muffled low hums soon turned into hisses, ears perked and swiveled yet pale eyes refused to open until the sounds of not one, but three steps neared. Quickly, her gaze found earthen tones. The scent was musky, male for sure, yet bright green eyes did not find her own; more upon the river as he consumed his fill. Rather reluctantly, Tauriel rose to her paws. Slowly shaking away the drawl of sleep. Second by second, her body began to awaken again. A cloudy sensation still blurring what was normally a sharp mind.
Hello. Her sing-song voice glided easily through the crisp autumnal air. She had decided to stay and converse; if this being was hostile, he would have already made a move. Something seemed to suggest a calmer nature to the male--not many would simply take their time to drink. Yet as she waited for a reply, she could not help but wonder why she couldn't be left alone... she had wandered miles, her body craved rest... but if she were to make something of herself here, surely it would start by making friends?
As he drank, the woman he had come upon would rise from her position. He heard the soft familiar sound of that. Had he woken her up on accident? Had he disturbed her in some way? If that were the case, he felt bad. At first, he thought maybe she was getting up to leave, but his ears turned to catch her voice. A simple greeting. "Hello." Head rose, water dripped down his chin and onto the ground. Sightless gaze turned towards her, the male taking a step back as he did so. He knew sometimes that his larger size could be imposing to someone smaller, but he didn't know how tall or short this woman was. He dipped his head in greeting, "Hello," He replied with the same simple greeting. "I'm sorry if I disturbed you, I didn't mean to." Might as well apologize now if that did happen to be the case.
