He had completed his first storage den in his new settled territory and had already stored the bundle of herbs Serene and him had gathered. Today was a break day, a day to take it easy so that tomorrow he could start on the second storage den. This springs wasn't that far east from the Willow's and though he had no idea of the springs curiosity had led him this way. The warmth of the springs made his fur prickle in delight. Now that autumn was here it was much cooler and the springs would be bearable in this weather.

Moving forward he found one of the hot pools of water and slowly climbed in, easing himself so his body could get used to the water first. The contact of the hot water on his fur made him prickle again and he gave a slight shudder in delight. It felt so good! After a few minutes he submerged himself going to the deepest part of the pool which reached up over his shoulders. Closing his eyes he smiled the heat easing his worked muscles so they could relax.

Small fluffy puppy meets big, unexplored world. What could go wrong? Eden was enjoying herself immensely when it came to this entire new continent. The creature is filled with something bright and soft, and it propels her toward the east. East seemed like a good way to go, romping toward the setting sun. There was nothing that could hold her back from it. She's too young to know better, too young to care. Everything was wonderful, and she was enjoying every gosh be darned second of it.

She runs! There's nothing more fun than that, after all. She runs and runs and runs, until she reaches... er... puddles? Puddles! Puddles are neat. Puddles meant that Eden could puddle jump.

Jump she did.

With a great splash came a great yip. At least she could swim. "NOT A PUDDLE. ABSOLUTELY. NOT." What Eden didn't realize was that she wasn't talking to herself. What an adventure today would be after all. The warmth and depth of the pool was shocking, but she didn't mind. There was something sort of lovely about it, and she wouldn't complain. Not that the optimist did much complaining, really. It was too nice a day for that.

He didn't want to stay in here to long, fearful his body would relax to much and he would fall asleep and drown. So he opened his eyes after he felt relaxed enough and began to glide through the water to the shore. Just as he was getting out his ears could hear the younger women's splash, yip, and that she had talked. He didn't hear her words exactly, but he was well aware of her presence. His blue eyes curiously looked in that direction as he finished dragging himself out.

His curiosity always got the best of him and he trotted over to the pool that she was currently in. She looked like now she was enjoying the water instead of a few moments ago. Maybe she didn't realize how deep these polls could get? Softly he barked, not wanting to spook her, before sitting down on his butt, his tail wagging gently.

"Hello!" he greeted.

The fluffy creature found herself not wanting to scramble from the warm pools. They were so lovely! How could anyone not enjoy this? It was fantastic, she decided quickly. Lovely. Awesome. Great. All of the good things rolled into one, her eyes alight with something grand. Really, this was a child that was easily amused, and that was okay. She was fine with that.

A woof! Eden barks back, tail wagging in the water. Yes, today she is thankful she can swim. "Hey! Hey have you tried this? It's great!" If she'd been more observant, she would have realized the stranger was soggy. Soggy generally means that yes, he would have been in the water. Eden's head is a bit too far in the clouds to realize that one, and she's having far too good a time paddling around in the not so deep pool. Today was a good day. Every day was a good day, really.
