Stalked by Danger

It was early in the morning that he had completed his rounds and decided to head out of pack territory. The marsh wasn't a place he favored and he often stayed clear of this place. Today he decided to travel, fallowing the scent of boar. He was hoping to get lucky again and get another piglet to bring home.

He moved quietly with his body alert as he moved. He knew there were dangers around here and he knew to stay on his feet. His nose trailed while his ears moved around on his head taking in the sounds around him, little did he know his presence had already been noticed and that he was being fallowed.

A predator was on his trail and so far it was moving in silence, trailing him and waiting for the right moment (A large male cougar) to pounce.
