After patrolling for another time today he decided to wander, to look for something that could be useful to the pack and take up his spare time. He really wanted to spar, but it seems no one was around to accompany him to the battlefield. It was said that they should always have a witness and he currently didn’t have any so he set out to look for something else to do. Greenish eyes scanned the world before him as his lanky legs carried him quickly over the earth. He still had his limp, but he was used to compensating for that weaker part of his body. He headed to the lake, which at one time was part of the pack territory. It was a nice spot to rummage around for something to do and he could even try to fish if he felt lucky enough.

His ears sat on the top of his head, taking in the sounds and keeping himself aware of his surroundings. It was important to keep somewhat of a guard up, especially if there was danger lurking around. His thought drifted to Faite as the phrases of her fight training ran through his mind. He wondered how Lirim was doing, how was his nieces and nephews. It had been a long while since his last visit and he felt the urge to go back again. He needed to soon, to visit with family and to catch up on things. He hadn’t been there recently to know if the change in leadership, he was sure there had been a lot of changes since he was last there.

He grinned slightly at the thought before he made it to the lake, hopping up on a rock. He moved to the edge of the rock and casted his gaze downward, watching the fish swim around in the water.

She had gone exploring again, her wanderlust taking her to new and exciting places. Except lately her wanderings had been uneventful. She found new plants, but without anything to carry them in she decided to leave them for someone else. Traveling through the night, she had decided to stop and rest at the lake. She was tired from her travels, so the woman curled up beneath a hollowed tree and slept.

When she awoke, the sun was bright and shining. She had slept through the morning it seemed. Yawning, she got up and stretched out her limbs, shaking the dust and debris off her coat. Her tongue felt a little dry, and since she was near a lake, why not go for a drink and a dip to wake up? She smiled at herself, aiming to do just that. The speckled woman made her way to the lake, stepping up to her elbows in the chilly water. Her body shivered, but at least it would help her to wake up. Unaware of the male nearby, she lowered her head to drink.
