Dancing On A Mountaintop
Akselle trotted across the fallen tree limb, his gaze focused intently on a wonderful patch of dust just up ahead. Autumn was slowly moving in but it had yet to really drop the temperatures. However the sun didn't seem to be shining as brightly, it beamed down as if through a hazy filter. When Akselle reached the dust patch he quickly flopped on his back and proceeded to roll, flipping himself first left and then right and then left again, enough the sensation of a good old-fashioned dust bath. Ahhh…. now if the sun would just come out from behind the clouds he could get a sun bath in to. This really was a good life for a cat. His little ears twitched as his gaze shifted southward. He intended to go exploring but just not right now.

There was a loud crack! as the moose shoved his way through he foliage, moving smaller saplings out of his way with an ease most other animals couldn't hope to achieve. Ears flicked side to side, always keeping tabs on the sounds of the wildlife around him and he browsed lazily on the twigs and leaves of young trees, appearing rather carefree. He was finally free of the velvet that clung to his antlers, and was secretly rather enjoying the look of them now that they were squeaky clean and tinged brown from the frequent rubbing against trees.
Ripping a leafy branch from one of the smaller saplings - okay, more like the top half of the poor little tree, but he was hungry - the towering figure would wander through the trees until he came upon a clearer space. He emerged with the tree still in his mouth, munching quietly even as he noticed Akselle. A soft chuff was his way of greeting the small creature since he was hardly in a position to speak just now.

Dancing On A Mountaintop
A loud crack caught his attention and he rolled to his belly, his short legs coiling underneath him as he tried to decide if he should flee or stick it out. Whatever was moving around sounded big and there weren't a ton of large animals on the island so it had to be- "Atlas!" Akselle purred as he saw the moose emerge through the brush with a chuff of greeting while he was chewing on some green stuff.
Akselle got to his feet and immediately went to try and rub his body against the moose's legs in greeting, his back arching as his tail lifted high in friendly greeting. "Are you busy? Would you like to go explore the island with me?"

The cat was quick to acknowledge his arrival, and received a small nod while the moose continued chewing contentedly on the leaves. The foliage was so plentiful here, it was wonderful, he could probably browse all day quite happily if he didn't have small pesky creatures that seemed to often need his attention. Oh well, he supposed if he was really bothered he'd just leave them trapped on the island and go on his way.
Swallowing part of the mouthful of greens, he would cant his head and pretend to consider the question as the feline greeted him in the typical manner of a cat, weaving back and forth and brushing against the much larger creatures legs. "Hmmm..." he hummed, chewing up the last of his snack and swallowing so he was free to speak. "No, not busy at all."
Lowering his massive skull towards ground level, he huffed a soft breath at the little cat, tipping his left antler towards the ground and asked in playful manner, "Do you wish to walk, or ride?"
