Craving something a little bit different Ashiel made his way north to the Battlefields of Boreas. He figured while he was wandering outside of Auster he may as well look in on the battle skills of the northern wolves and perhaps get a workout in himself. So far he failed to run across any suitable adversaries or even any entertaining ones though there had been an old man of about ten years old that insisted he could whoop him. Ashiel had made short work of that nuisance and went on his way. Griff had been soaring above him to keep an eye out but when the bird grew tired Ashiel had offered to let his companion sleep upon his back. It was a delicate operation to say the least. After what felt like months of begging, Jupiter had finally convinced Amadeus to let him go to the battlefield. The whole way there the macaque did his best to convince him to turn around and go home, but Jupiter was determined. He needed to do it. If he was going to be the best fighter ever he needed to actually fight someone. Confidently he scanned the battlefield for an opponent. His gaze landed on Ashiel and immediately he lit up. "Ashiel!" He trotted over to the older boy. Seeing his friend there instilled him with a confidence he probably should have checked at the border, but naivety was a powerful narcotic. Knowing he was in good company - knowing that Ashiel was probably here for the same reason - made him feel big and bad. "Are you looking for someone to spar with?" "Jupiter"   "Amadeus" ”You”

Ashiel continued in his journey, moving carefully. He took it as a challenge of muscle control, to move smoothly while balancing the bird on his back and minimizing the effect of the talons on his flesh. He was settling into a good rhythm when a familiar voice suddenly shouted out his name. The sudden sound startled Griff whose talons seized into Ashiel's flesh for a second before the bird took off into the air. He turned to see the familiar form of Jupiter trotting toward him. He smiled at the boy who seemed to be growing quite well. Ashiel dipped his head in greeting. "Jupiter! It is good to see you looking well. Yes, actually. The height difference between them was closing quickly, but where Ashiel was all muscles and well rounded corners, Jupiter was all legs and sharp edges. Standing opposite of one another, the two young wolves were very clearly a bad match, but in Jupiter's eyes they were nearly the same. In response to Ashiel's question Jupiter puffed out his chest and proudly said, "Yup, sure am." He'd never fought another wolf before, but he was ready. He could feel it in his bones. Ashiel couldn't help but grin at the plucky youth. His spirited nature reminded Ashiel a bit of his sister back when they were younger and getting into all kinds of trouble. He could still remember Malleus chasing the duo as they tore down a beach half filled with deformed sea creatures. Ahh, to be young again! His head cocked to the side for a moment at Jupiter's question and then Ashiel decided to throw caution to the winds. Why not? He was out here for a bit of exercise and the experience would be good for Jupiter. Better he learn to fight with someone he could trust than a darker individual who might take the boys inexperience and twist it to their own desires. "Sure!"
