As autumn progressed, it grew colder. Selene wasn't really sure what she was going to do about that. Cold had never done her well, with her sleek coat and fine build. Cold... alone? It didn't make much sense to her. Every part of her brain knew better than to be alone in the winter, but here she was. It wasn't winter yet. She was still safe.

Selene crossed over into the Alabastrine Shrine, realizing that she had stumbled upon yet another positively bizarre southern land. Everything here seemed to be filled with stories of things long before her time, concepts long ungrasped by the likes of her people. Selene was a bit unsteadied by the very idea of it, but it didn't matter. Something strange rested in her gaze as she plodded on.

Carefully moving through the bleached landscape, the moonscorned noted how it likely received its name. How strange. Wonderful, but strange. She was nearly enchanted by it all, the wondrous look of a new place. A bit of a shiver lived upon Selene's spine, but she was enthralled none the less. As always, the day's exploring looked promising.
