See what I see?

Earthen paws carried him across the basin, both companions nearby as they hunted the rabbits in their path. Dragon felt inspired by them, aiming to do a little hunting of his own. Blind he may be, but he wasn't completely useless. He had learned to hunt and track again now that his sense of smell was much stronger. Finding the fresh trail of a rabbit, he decided to follow. It didn't take long for the scent to grow stronger, and with his body crouched low and blending in with his surroundings, he waited until he was close enough to hear the creature nibbling on the grasses. Several beats later, he burst from his hiding spot straight towards the rabbit, but unfortunately for him, it had practically been sitting on its Warren. Teeth snapped on fur, snagging a little bit off its tail as it drove in. Growling with frustration, he left to find another trail.
Dragon never goes anywhere without his Dragon armor, assume he is always wearing it unless otherwise mentioned! He also has a pair of seeing eye jaguars, assume they're always present unless otherwise mentioned.

It'd been a fair while since Ara had wandered this way, though with autumn settling over the lands she knew it was time to hurry and collect herbs before the season changed entirely. This basin, too, was just about the perfect place for that. Thick varieties of grass lined the terrain here, and hidden among the dense grass were all sorts of herbs and flowers. It was quite the place to be scoping out, and she was especially grateful today for the tattered woven pouch that hung loosely around her neck. Hopefully by the end of the season she'd have it much more full, and she hoped she could find a place to dry and store her herbs to keep them lasting throughout the winter. She didn't spend long scoping out the basin before the scent of a stranger touched her nose. The scent was foreign, and masculine - a fact that didn't instantly interest her. Men had always deterred her slightly, as the few bad interactions she'd ever had always seemed to come from men.. though that wouldn't totally turn her off from approaching the stranger. Curious, she angled her head in his direction, redirection her movements slightly. Once he came within view, she tilted her head slightly to the ground - perhaps to show she was far from threatening - and let out a soft bark of greeting to the stranger. "Beautiful day, isn't it?" Ara called out as she approached him from the side, wearing a gentle smile. |
