Agria would often let the boys roam around the Cathedral. Most of the time she'd just go on about her day or even go on patrols with or without them. Kaine may have had a slight heart attack if he knew she did this with the pups so young, but they seemed to keep out of any real danger and she would be quick on their asses if they ran into any trouble or of course cause any. Her outcome was that they'd learn on their own, but she had her own little hissy fits with their childish behavior. Kefka would maneuver himself within the brush that was well thick enough for his own body but it was definitely dwindled down and thin from the heat of the season. No flowers or herbs could be found through the vines, or at least they were exceeding rare and already picked for stocks. He would just be surrounded by large green leaves and vines, poking his head in and sliding through much like a cat in a tight space. Of course no real purpose other than to be out of the den. Walk "Talk" Think

Malleus was on his way back to his den when a rustling in the grapevines to his left caught his attention. Thinking it might be a snake, Malleus jumped away and then spun to face the offending the rustler. His ears slicked back as he eyed the spot the sound must have been coming from and he stretched out his neck to sniff at it. He was careful to keep his distance. The last thing he needed was to get tagged on the nose by a cottonmouth. The scent that reach his nose, though, was no snake. It was a boy and Malleus knew immediately who the child belonged to. Much to his chagrin, Malleus had missed the birth of Agria's children, but her scent clearly surrounded the boy who was somewhere in the vines so he had to be one of hers. Malleus stuck his head into the tangle of vines and looked around. "Yoohoo," he called softly, "Anybody in here?"   "Malleus" - "Pascal"

Kefka wouldn't pay too much attention to his surroundings as he should have. Malleus' own sounds of rustling alluded him until he went to poke his nose inside the tangles of vines. Kefka crouched quickly, stalking over to the poking muzzle, seeing that the large male would go to put his entire head through the plants. The pup tried hard to avoid being seen, until he came close enough to the floating head and lunged with an open jaw, seeking to sink his puppy teeth into each side of the brute's jowls. It wasn't really meant for any "real" intentional harm, or maybe it was. Malleus could easily pin the tiny boy down without a problem, and maybe even attempt to teach him a lesson. Good or bad was up to him, but it wouldn't do much justice for Kefka in the future. Little did he know that this man was their leader. But his young brain wouldn't care if he knew anyway. Hopefully he would leave a good first impression for the boy, or else a lifetime of ignorance would rush upon the Emperor. Walk "Talk" Think

The gaping jaws that suddenly shot out of the vines surprised him. Out of instinct Malleus jerked back out of the vines and it was a good thing he did because the boy's teeth scraped his lips and while they didn't find purchase, they left little welts in their wake. Stunned, Malleus stood still for just a moment before he made up his mind and pounced into the bushes with a snarl. The boy's actions were unacceptable and he needed to be taught a lesson. Little boys could be nosy and mean, and Malleus was content in most cases to let them be children, but there were boundaries that he would not let any pack member cross. A little lesson today would hopefully inject the boy with a little respect for his superiors. He wasn't really mad, but he wanted the boy to think he was in real trouble. A little fear would go along way. Malleus sought to slam both of his forepaws down on the boy and pin him. He wasn't trying for any real damage, but he wouldn't feel bad if he knocked the wind out of Kefka. He'd gotten more than his fair share of licks as a child. It was only right that as an adult he dished as many out as he'd taken.   "Malleus" - "Pascal"
