Having used the last of her ginseng root in a special blend of herbs made most effective for patients dealing with post traumatic stress in any form, she would begin the search for more. She did not want to get caught without it, despite how rare and difficult it was to find.
She had heard that it could be found south of the main land, on a smaller island that could be reached by a sand bar that stretched out beyond Faller's fjord.

It was a long journey from the more North-Western terratories she had been exploring, but she was glad she had made the effort. The cold so brisk in the north was already starting to wane by the time she reached the bifrost. She enjoyed the warmth on her coat, and the feel of earth beneath her feet. She had discovered most recently that she hated being out in the snow!

She was a little nervous when she reached the land bar, eyeing it up and down and thinking just how exposed it was. An idle wave could wash it away, and her with it, or a hostile wolf could trap her on the thin stretch of sand. Regardless, she was determined and she took an unhurried step forward, and then another, until nothing but sand crunched beneath her paws. The tangy taste of salt was rich in the air, and the sound of birds - a site more rare in these colder months, could be heard crying from the distance. It was almost like she had left winter behind. Perhaps she would take her time finding the ginseng root...

Location: The Bifrost
It was a long and hard trek back up to the northern continent. But she knew Branch wouldn't be far when she came back up to return the rest of his items. In turn, she had placed the largest fish she could find inside his satchel, wrapped tightly in large leaves of course so it wouldn't damage the bag or anything else inside it. The herbs would come to great use back in her pack, and she would be forever grateful that he was kind hearted to give her and her pack the herbs with no promise of giving anything in return.

Walking on the thin trail of the sand bar, it was normal for her to cross around here and her body would show as if nothing horrible could happen to her here. Unlike the girl who was now being spotted from the distance. Her dark pelt was easy to see against the sandy and clear water, a rippling from the heat would only make it slightly difficult. Aranea may have been a little more difficult to see in her vision, but as they grew closer it was sure to be unalarming due to her size.

She wouldn't go to make a sound as they came into each other, there wasn't much of an area for the girl to miss her coming toward her, but definitely possible. She would only stop a good distance and let the dark girl come to her. They were nearly the same height and this would put Aranea at ease not only for the sake of the young woman, but it was hard to find anyone so tiny especially where she was currently living. She had gotten used to giants, and she just felt a relief seeing this other wolf in front of her. She'd only give a smile as she waited and hoped that she would come to her instead of running away.

Still feeling exposed, she made her cautious approach across the sand bar. Her paws dug into the sand, kicking up a gentle spray of white mist behind her with each step she took. Occasionally she would lean to the side and sniff at the water lapping with all the gentleness of a kitten against the sand around her. The tang of salt burnt her nose and she sneezed softly, lifting her head and - and she would freeze in surprise.

Another wolf was making the crossing from the other side, already on the approach, almost silent in her steps, making no effort to call out to her. She hadn’t expected the sight of another wolf here, through perhaps it shouldn’t have surprised her - it was the only crossing between islands. The stranger came to a stop some distance from Riva, and Riva hesitated, uncertain, until she caught sight of the pouch and lifting her head to the air, she thought she could the faint whiff of herbs. Was this woman a healer? She was almost completely matched in height with Riva, and there was nothing hostile that she could see in her face. After only another moment's hesitation, she started to walk forward again. “Good day for a crossing.” she called out, tilting her head to the side, a slight smile warming her dark features.
