Money Run Low

She was a whole year old now, and that meant one very important thing; she could leave the packlands freely now. Of course Rhea was true to form and likely wasn't the first of her siblings to leave on a solo adventure. It took a few days to work up her courage, and even then once she reached the steppe she was pretty sure she was going no further today. It was cool to see the outside world and appreciate how different the lands out here were. The thicket was so full of plant life, it made this rock-scattered place look almost barren.

Settling herself in an open space, Rhea smiled and watched a couple of little mice scurry past her weaving their way through the herbs that were starting to grow in the warm light of spring. It was a lovely day indeed.
