Four out of Five
She was lost. She knew that. Her home was gone, it had been gone for a long time now. At first she had been sad about it, but she was not new to the life of a loner. Roaming around by herself was something she had done even before she had joined Talis, so she had easily slipped back into that life once again. She had taken her time to explore the lands a bit, but she couldn’t help but wonder if Kharnage was okay. She hadn’t seen him in seasons, and same with Dragon. She silently shook her head, trying to clear her head as she would continue on her walk through the redwoods. It was peaceful and quiet here, and she felt like she could stay here forever. Though that probably wouldn’t be ideal because wolves probably traveled through here all the time. Faine could never take a pack on by herself, and she had no desire to. She had always been a follower, but now, what was she to do? Walk, "Talk" Think |

He had decided to take a walk in the nearby woods today. His companions remained at the pines watching over his two new charges. He was still in some disbelief over the fact he had kids, but he didn't mind. He had always wanted to be a father, and he didn't think it would happen since he had gone blind. But now he had that chance, even if they were from someone who didn't want them. He couldn't quite remember that day in detail. Whatever, accidents happened every day to everyone right? He was grateful for these kids. They gave him a new sense of purpose.
As he walked beneath the redwoods, he soon caught the scent of someone nearby. Or at least, he assumed they were nearby. He paused to sniff the air, and that's when the recognition hit. Faine? He hadn't seen her around for a long time, her lack of presence even before Talis had been taken had been noticed, but he assumed she and Kharnage had gone off to be alone. He was eager to reunite with someone he once knew, so he sought her out. Nose to the ground, he sniffed out her scent in an attempt to find her. "Faine? Is that you?" He called out, hoping she heard him so he didn't have to wander around blindly trying to track her down. It was also a question that didn't need to be asked, he knew it was her. |
Dragon never goes anywhere without his Dragon armor, assume he is always wearing it unless otherwise mentioned! He also has a pair of seeing eye jaguars, assume they're always present unless otherwise mentioned.
The woman could hear somebody approaching and she stopped for a moment. Her eyes scanning the redwoods for a moment as she stood her ground. She wasn’t a confrontational creature, and she didn’t like to fight, she didn’t even know how. If she had to leave, she would make a run for it. Yet, a rather familiar called out and her ears shifted forward. “Dragon?” she asked softly, and finally his scent entered her nares. A small smile appeared on the woman’s lips as she would begin to move. Finally she saw him, and her tail wagged lightly behind her lithe form. She couldn’t deny that she was happy to see him. She looked up to him, and she had been close to Kharnage at some point too. “You’re okay,” she said, approaching as she could see the look in his emerald gaze. There were scars on his face, and his ear messed up too. As a healer, she knew almost right away that he couldn’t see and she felt a little guilty. Could she had possibly prevented this if she had been around? She gently pressed her nose to his shoulder though, as a friendly greeting. Other than what she could see, he still seemed pretty healthy and still himself. She was grateful for that though because apart of her thought that maybe she would never see her friends again.
