Herb Collection: Elderberry
Another day and another time that they were able to go out and explore. Today they had been allowed out of the Maw and around the large volcano standing in their home. Most of her siblings were probably just exploring, but her little intelligent mind had other things in mind. She had been studying the small collection of herbs that her mother had, knowing they were used for the purpose of healing others. She visually went over every single one and memorized what they had looked like. She had carefully took in their scents memorizing what they smelled like. It was all her way of learning and now today she would hunt for the herbs her mother had in the den. She wanted to see and study them were they grew and get a better understanding of the plant alone. Maybe someone was even willing to tell her what uses the plant had and what it treated in wolves.
She was on a mission and she began her hunt once they settled around the large Mount Volkan. Moving slow and using her little nose to both try and help it develop quicker and to find the herbs quicker. It took her a while, moving slowly through the brush, taking in the scents, and looking for any of the herbs. Just then she stopped, lifting her head and testing the air. Stumbling into a familiar scent, it was faint, but it was there. She moved slow not wanting to loose the scent and doing her best to fallow her nose. Soon the scent grew stronger and stronger until she stopped in front of the plant.
Calculating eyes looked it over recognizing the dark small berries. It grew in a patch of direct sunlight and it also grew in a large cluster, a shrub. Visually she again studied the shrub, walking all around it and fully taking it in.
