Like A Mirror

Rhu, her mother had said was a name of duel purpose... Her mother had told her that she was once in love with another, an Enigma she said... Contrary, sweet but hard... Good but oh so bad... She brought out the best of him and... well he brought out the worst in her... Rhu could not began to understand what her brave and strong mother would see in a maverick that live up to a name like Enigma but she wanted to find out... She wanted to see who her somewhat namesake was like... She wanted to look upon the enigmatic face of the male her mother spoke so much about, the male who she got this odd face when she spoke of him...

Rhu scrunched her face, not even knowing how to start. All her mother ever said was that he was named Enigma... She sighed... This was such a needle in the haystack... Why did she promise to find him again? Rhu's face softened, yeah that was right, it was her mothers last wish... She wanted her to see the land she was born in, the land she lived and loved.... The land where her world turned and changed... Rhu closed her eyes, not wanting to think about the after... No that part of her mothers life... and hers was over... She would never go back, never look back! She was free!

Her eyes snapped open, finding solace in that one thought. And as her eyes looked over her surroundings she wondered where she should start.... She flicked her left ear her eyes moving over the trees, she had arrived after island hopping for a while to muddle her trail from anyone looking for her, and hopefully that had worked, then she had made her way north aimlessly hoping to further muddy her path, one could never be too cautious and now... Well now she felt safe enough to start her quest.... The last promise to the woman who gave everything for her daughter... She sighed once more as she started on her way... One thing her mother taught her was to keep moving... And never look back, only forward. And forward was well, this way.
