All Turned Around
Adarra was well... lost. Why she'd decided it was a good idea to go into the yawning mouth of the tunnel she couldn't remember. Now she was unsure which way she even needed to go to get back out; the light of day was long gone and to her light blind eyes the shadows seemed to move; coalescing into shapes at the edges of her vision (such as it was) before scattering back into the darkness as she turned her head to try and catch whatever it was that was haunting her.
On top of that of course she was also damp, having nearly stumbled into what she could only assume was an underground lake, the sound of water lapping against the shore, before back tracking to relatively safe and at the very least dry ground. Perhaps for the first time in a long time she really was hoping to find herself in the company of someone else, preferably someone who knew the way out.

Halation hadn't meant to wander quite as far as he had. Something inside him lured him to wandering and he was determined to check out one of the northern territories. As he explored he saw something that was just to cool to not check out. It was like a giant scar had been ripped into the earth. A steep incline lured him farther down into its depths. It was slow going at first as he scrambled and shuffled down but for once he was going purposely slow. There was so much to see. Amazingly plant life grew in this place and he could hear noises of life and the buzz of insects.
As Halation walked further and further in the darker it got until he could barely see in front of his face. A little voice inside his head told him to turn back but after each step he just wanted to go a little bit further and a little bit further. Just as he was about to turn around he heard movement and froze. His breath caught in his chest as his fur stood on end. "H-hello? Is someone down here?"
Adarra gets a trick!
Perhaps exploring Descensum wasn't such a great idea during nightfall. Hopefully Adarra is lucky enough to get out on her own.. I'm not sure this is a place anyone wants to spend their entire night! Adarra loses 16 gems!
Halation gets a trick!
It seems Halation has gotten just as lost as Adarra. Hopefully between the two of them they can find their way out, if they find each other at all. Halation looses 16 gems!
The poor woman wasn't quite sure what was her mind playing tricks on her and what was reality. The barest hint of another scent muted by the dampness of the air, the scrabbling of stones could have been a loose pebble or claws on stone. She was almost afraid to move at all, unsure if she'd be heading towards the exit or back towards the lake. Then she heard it, a voice, audibly young. Still she couldn't help the mixture of hope and anxiety that fluttered in her chest.
She turned quickly to try and face towards where she thought the voice had come from, even though the walls of the cave caused it to echo ominously and made pinpointing the origin hard. "Yes, I'm here!" There was a note of desperation in her voice and it quavered with the fear of being lost down here for a long time.

Halation was on high alert, his ears swiveled, questing for noise. He heard a voice call out that she was here. He tried to pinpoint the sound and when he thought he had it he called. "Ok, I'm coming! Just a minute." He scrambled through the cave, uncertain where he was going but focusing on the direction of the voice until he suddenly tripped and fell right on a curious plant with broad green leaves. Looking around he was surprised to see the lush variety of vegetation. Sniffing lightly at the plant he made a note to grab some on his way back. He needed to find the source of the voice first and perhaps there were some more interesting plants.
Suddenly Halation slid downward and let out a yelp as he stepped into some cold water. Ok, interesting. He shook his foot out and continued on his way. What was going on? He turned and squinted when he finally thought he noticed another form. "Hello? Are you ok?" He hoped he was actually talking to another wolf and not a rockā¦ or a monster.
The voice called out again, letting the woman know they were coming. Which was both a blessing and a curse in her mind; she hoped for rescue of course but she dreaded the inevitable meeting with someone of whom she knew nothing about, becoming the focus of their attention. Still she was glad that someone had come to her rescue, certain that she wasn't about to die down here now that someone else had arrived.
Adarra waited, her nervousness growing as she heard the scrabbling of paws, claws scraping approaching, though she did not totally believe in monsters she couldn't help but imagine some massive shadowy figure coming to snap her up, foolish as she was to announce her presence. Of course nothing like that showed up, instead she heard the voice again, spotting the vague outline of what looked like a wolf; she shifted, squinting in the dark trying to see the stranger better.
"I'm, uh, well a bit shaken up but yes. Lost mostly." She responded, feeling her tone automatically rise into the higher pitch she tended to use with strangers.
