It was Caelia's first time leaving Celestial's packlands. She wasn't quite sure how to feel about it - she'd been eager to leave before, but now that she was wandering into unknown lands, that nervous excitement had been replaced with a feeling of uncertainty. Her mother had given her permission to explore just outside the pack borders, and her restless paws had led her to the edge of the ravine. Caelia had been told about this place, but she'd also been given strict orders to not go into the ravine itself. Exploring the top, though, was apparently fair game.

The more arid, desolate landscape that she was familiar with had shifted drastically as she headed southeast. Before long she'd found her way into a more wooded area, and the flat terrain eventually gave way to the sharp crack of a ravine, cutting straight into the earth itself. Caelia stood at the edge, gazing down the sharp incline. Though she was tempted to explore the ravine, her mother's words kept echoing through her head, and she decided she really didn't want to get stuck down there without any help..
