Vlad was gone, which meant he didn't have to babysit anymore and now had more free time. He wasn't completely sure what he wanted to do today, but as he lied outside his den, he started to think. He had an array of furs from predators he had fought and beat. They were sitting in his den, ready and waiting to be worked. He had already started working on a couple of things, but had hit a creative block. He also didn't know what he would do with those things when he was finished with them. He had been getting the hang of crafting things with the help of the fox twins and occasionally Ignis' companions when he needed them. But again, he didn't know what to do with them.
He got up then and went to drag out a couple of furs. He laid them out before him and he sat there, thinking about what to do. Should he try and fashion them into something useful? Would anyone be interested in any of them if he did? The thought of making things for others never really crossed his mind, but he also didn't bother to see if anyone was interested. Finn came out of the den then, noticing the deer pelts as he pawed at them. "Watcha gonna do with these, dad?" Ace thought for a moment, a sigh passing his lips. "I don't know yet, but i'll figure it out...I think."

Cadence was getting used to the idea of her new home. She had already been pretty productive since that day she met her sister and Shaye at the border. She had gone around, searching happily for a nice new den site. She had to pick the very best one, one that was central to the pack and still far enough away to give herself some rest. It had to be dry in all the seasons so that her herb stores could be kept nice and moisture free. Winter was especially hard for healers if they didn't collect and try to dry out herbs for the cold season. When she found it, the most perfect den, she had nearly yipped for joy! But of course, now she had to dress it. First she had dug out her little herb store, the place where she would hide her herbs once she found them when the snow melted. Today she was out on the lookout for some bedding, things that were comfy for her to sleep on, and perhaps a tanned deer hide or two for her stores to help keep the moisture away. It was never really Cadence's job to hunt, or otherwise turn pelts, so she didn't really know where to start when it came from scratch. So, she was out on the hunt, figuratively, for a packmate who might know a thing or two about it. With a soft hum, she trotted through her new packlands, a bright smile on her youthful face. There was something so lovely about this place. Peaceful, gentle, just like her mother's stories. Sure, Abaven was known for raising warriors, and for ensuring everyone knew how to defend themselves, but everyone here was just so...nice. It was perfect, and quickly feeling like home. She paused when she spotted a man outside of his den. And oh? He had some pelts at his paws! With a bright smile she trotted towards him. "Hi there~" She sang lightly as she approached the man. "Wonderful day we're having." "Burn Baby Burn" |
