One last meeting to get Legion's guilds running more self-sufficiently without his constant attention - maybe - this time with the healers. He simply didn't know enough about healing to directly supervise them, so he needed them to be self-regulating and manage their own training as far as they could. He could find and trade for healer training from other packs or from loners, but it would be far more difficult for him to judge a competent healer from a charlatan. He needed to be able to trust his healers to be able to handle themselves, because while he could step up and train fighters or hunters in a pinch if no one was ambitious enough to lead either of those guilds, he simply could not be that for the healers.

Well, no time like the present. Stopping at the entrance to the barn, he threw back his head and howled to summon the pack's healers to join him. The weather was less than ideal for any sort of outdoor activity, so he'd commandeered a large-ish falling-down stall in the dry side of the barn to escape from the dreary drizzle of freezing rain. With the layers of decades-old straw and haybales to pad the floor and curl up in, it was actually quite cozy, and after a quick shake to throw the water from his fur far enough away from the pleasant little hay-nest that he didn't get any of it on the hay, his body heat and the close quarters there had him drying out and warming up pretty quickly.

OOC: Mandatory for all healers/healer apprentices with posts due by the end of the day 2/22. Anyone else with a healing skill is also welcome.

She had been taking cover from the drizzling rain, finding the weather to be rather unpleasant. She was in the little lean two shed by the water, curled up all the way in the back corner. She felt like she had been there for hours already, but she just didn't feel like dealing with the freezing rain. She was grateful to have finally be moved, away from the northern territories and the more bitter cold. She had enough of a winter coat to keep her warm, but this kind of weather was a lot different from plain snow. It was damp and raw, a lot worse then the snow.

Chaos' howl made her head pop up from her curled form listening as he called forth the healers. She didn't hesitate, fallowing Chaos was a whole new leaf and she fully intended to try and be a good pack member. The time she had spent with Chaos had her feeling good about her decision to fallow him. So she was up, she stretched, and she quickly moved out from under the shelter and into the freezing rain. Her movements quick as she tried to move swiftly to get there in a timely manner.

Luckily she was the first to arrive and moved right into the open barn. Shaking the water from her fur her eyes quickly spotted where Chaos was hanging out and headed over to sit in the piled straw.

"We are going to be inside? I thought it's a wonderful idea for an outdoor meeting," A light teasing smile spread across her lips.

Rhythm stirred curiously as the call for healers rang out from the range. She was, as usual, relaxing on her boulder above the den listening to the buffalo shift pass by. She hadn’t immersed herself back into pack life quite yet, and a meeting of healers seemed the perfect opportunity. As she moved from the knolls to the range the rain grew steadily worse and she felt soaked by the time she arrived. She shook herself of the cold precipitation as she entered the barn and made herself comfortable by Chaos and the she wolf she had yet to meet yet.

She was glad to have been given a rank, retirement didn’t quite sound like the right path quiet yet. She was very much willing to keep pulling her own weight, even if that meant seeing to a few scrapes and bruises here and there. As far as she knew though, Chaos was no healer, and she wondered what kind of discussions this little meeting might bring up.

"Hello, Chaos." she greeted, "You know, I always wondered if you grew into those teeth." She commented absently, though obviously she wouldn’t be able to tell for herself.

Magnolia nearly ignored the call, she was huddled in her den; sheltered from the freezing rain. How she longed to be back up north, there she only had to deal with snow, something the woman had been born to handle... But after her talk with Chaos she knew she couldn't ignore things anymore. Still, as she pulled herself from the den, grimacing against the driving rain she knew she'd probably be late... or at least later than he'd like.

Better late than never. She thought, resigning herself to continuing to disappoint. So she pulled herself into the barn, stopping briefly at the mouth to allow her eyes to adjust before she approached the small gathering. She gave a dip of her head to Chaos, still not totally able to meet his gaze and then blinked a greeting at the other two women. Not really knowing enough to know one of them would miss that. Then she settled herself, well as much as she could, settling onto her haunches though clearly not totally relaxed.

Despite her initial wariness about traveling so far to stay in Chaos's pack, things were honestly looking up. Valdis's surprising admission to her had definitely put things into a different perspective for her and she found herself grateful to be here rather than moping over it. Though it was much warmer than she was used to, moving here in the winter had provided some familiarity for her and helped the whole.. settling-in process considerably. Her mood had been generally brighter as of late, and it didn't falter even when she heard a call signalling for the pack's healers to gather. She slid from Valdis's side, escaping the den they now shared and heading into the drizzly day to meet the rest of the group. Perhaps she hesitated for a moment too long, but the embrace of her.. girlfriend? Lover? She wasn't quite sure what to call her, but either way it was tough to untangle herself from her side and she let out a quiet sigh as she belatedly headed toward the gathering.

Luckily, Chaos had called them to meet under the shelter of one of the wooden structures in their territory, which was a welcome reprieve from the bleak, rainy atmosphere. Apparently she'd delayed long enough that she was the last to arrive, which hadn't exactly been intentional. Whoops. She cast a look around the room as she sauntered inside, noting only one wasn't very familiar to her, an older woman. She offered the group a slight nod as she settled near them, though her attention was mostly focused on Chaos now.
