Raining Fire

The babe felt like she was going to pop any day now, the weight of new life inside of her had taken some getting used to, but it wasn't too bad now. She'd been sticking fairly close to Tyranis and the farthest she'd go were the surrounding territories. She wasn't afraid of anyone or anything, she simply wanted to be close by in case the pups had decided to come early or something. That was a thing right? She often had bad dreams about it, but as Summer progressed she felt like they would never come. Was it also a thing for them to want to stay and not be born? That thought unnerved her, but she had never seen another wolf still pregnant or anything...so she chalked it up to her imagination. She shook her head and grinned a little, realizing what a silly thought it was.

As she neared the outskirts of the borders a sudden, sharp pain wracked her body and caused her to audibly gasp and groan as she curled in on herself. Her body shook as the contractions began quickly and heavily, and deep down she knew they were coming. She had no idea what to do for a pregnancy so she hadn't collected anything for the event. Still, she rushed to her den as fast as the contractions would allow and howled for Tyranis before she laid down and gritted her teeth through each wave of pain.
