The large male had stepped out of his comfort zone and left the southern hemisphere of the continent. He had craved a bit of adventure, and a challenge had come along with it. Garth's large, silvery-dipped paws had carried him to a tall mountain and its top gleamed eerily in the silver moonlight. Desire to see what was above him rose in his chest and he didn't waste any time in climbing the sides of the monument. Each step up was a dangerous feat, but he didn't let that effect his motivation.
In a matter of ten minutes and with careful footing, Garth reached the top of his self-made mission. His large paws pulled him up to the flat landing, his black frame slithering against the rock as his hind paws found the edge of the cliff. Slowly, he stepped forward to move away from the edge, not intending on falling after just conquering the unclaimed mountain. Gazing around him, glacier blue eyes twinkled as he admired the colorful flowers that stood out in the moon's rays. Winter was leaving and spring had just arrived. Perfumes of various flowers were hitting the air early and he breathed them in with large, slow breaths. Nothing got him more excited than scents that he rarely got to smell. Exotic scents made the man jitter, something he hadn't shared with anyone in years. Silently, he took a few more steps forward and reclined to his haunches as his head tilted up at the moon. He watched it with fascination, keeping his ears perked as he listened to the air around him.

She was bruised and battered, fresh wounds only starting to heal. Her steps were slow, her usual fluid movements were interrupted by a small limp. She hadn't returned to these cliffs in sometime, and it probably wasnt the best terrain to navigate, but she was determined. She loved the way the ocean breeze splashed over her face and played with her pelt. The salty air already invaded her nostrils and then tension in her body seemed to slip away. But, the russet woman would not be alone. A strangers scent lingered, and it wasn't until she got closer that she would see his shadow. His dark pelt would have kept him well hidden had it not been for the moon that shone brightly. The woman would allow a paw to drag across the terrain, disrupting the silence with stumbling rocks. She would bring her russet frame to a halt, tired eyes brightening with curiosity. Tattered audits slide forward, slow steps would bring her a bit closer, though she still gave the man a width girth. She was in no condition to fight, Maija was already going to have a fit that she was traveling. "Hello." Smooth lyrics rolled off her tongue softly, a small smile playing on freshly marred lips.

His attention had been elsewhere, and with the scent of the ocean nearby mixed in with the flowers, he was unable to immediately recognize the stranger's scent. The female who approached came when he was still watching the moon, so when she voiced her greeting, he took a few seconds to respond. Slowly, his head moved so his gaze would meet hers. Glacial blue met verdant green and he blinked a couple of times before replying. "Good evening," he politely greeted, voice gruff and deep. In a matter of seconds, however, he was on his large feet.
The wounds that she carried caught his eyes, drawing him to her like a moth to a flame. His large, silvery-dipped paws caressed the ground as he approached her, nose stretching out in vast curiosity. "Are you alright?" he softly asked, eyes meeting hers again before they scanned the various injuries of her russet-furred form. He noted how she stood and that the pain could possibly be unbearable. Then, he saw the soft smile upon her lips and he felt less hurried to attend to her. She was holding herself up pretty well and that was a good sign, at least. Garth wanted to get closer, but he knew it would be rude of him without permission.

The man was on his feet in seconds, though his greeting polite. He would approach, his neck stretching in her direction. His concern echoed in her skull, stretching her smile a bit further. She would recline on her haunches, favoring her right limb a bit more than the rest. "I will be." She would settle in, trying to get comfortable, though her body still screamed for rest. "I'm Sibelle, and you'll have to excuse my disheveled appearance." She would chuckle quietly, more to herself than anyone. This was probably the worst time to be making friends, or meeting anyone new. And yet here she was, battered and bruised, meeting a rather handsome young man. Her plume would curl around herself, resting over her broken toe. Verdant gaze would casually sweep over his dark frame, unable to help herself. Sleep tugged at her mind, but she fought it back, wanting to get to know this man a little bit more. They had only just met and he was obviously curious about her injuries and wanting to know that she was alright. It was refreshing after the heat of battle.

His eyes continued to scan over her, taking in the finer details he had missed upon first noticing her presence. She reassured him that she would be all right, but Garth would not be easily fooled. However, he didn't want to push her to leave from just meeting him, so he figured if she needed the help, she would ask.
Introductions were made on her part and he couldn't help but want to test out her name. "Sibelle..." he softly voiced, letting the foreign name roll across his tongue. "Disheveled? I wouldn't even think of that word fitting you right now," he gently retorted, eyes showing slight twinkles. "Besides, isn't there a saying that if someone can't handle you at your worst, then they sure as hell can't have you at your best?" Quite a mouthful, but Garth didn't mind voicing it. Upon realizing what he had said, he retraced his steps and softly added, "...Not that you're at your worst right now...I'm Garth, by the way." His eyes roved across her frame, still seeing more beauty stand out in the moonlight.
