Novae Weyr - 5th Pass Non-Canon Dragonriders of Pern

The Long Interval caught Pern off guard. Holds took over. Weyrs began to collapse. When the 5th pass finally appeared, panic struck. They were not strong enough. Could they possibly handle what the Red Star had? It was then they found it- The Rebel Weyr. 

Novae Weyr founded itself during the time the Weyrs collapsed. They made themselves a safe haven for the holdless, the runaways, the rebels who needed a cause to follow. Now Fort Weyr, Southern Weyr, and Benden Weyr fight for this ally who could save them all.

But the question remains. Will Novae Weyr give in and ally itself with one of the other Weyrs or stay true to its rebel heart and hold strong as Threadfall begins to tear them down?
