Rosemary was restless within the packlands, exploring the territory and searching for new herbs to use in poultices. The lake made a worthy seat of power for the Kleins to begin their empire and within it they would grow strong. Several healing plants grew along the lake’s shore but today he wanted to hone his skills as a warrior. He sought out Belle’s paramour, the fighter, intending to test his skills against the man and see just how much of a warrior he was. He called Seer with a deep howl, demanding a spar and a challenge from the other male.

Sirius groaned softly as he heard the summoning howl, he lifted his bulk from where he had just rested it. Rolling to his feet with a reluctant sigh. He had spent the better part of the last few hours beginning the entrance of his den. For what he wished would take a lot of time and effort, to place his den in the face of the ravine close to that of his Mistress’s den. He had hoped to get in a break before he continued, but it seemed his superiors had a different idea in mind for him. Not wishing to delay a summons, he fell into a ground-eating lope, his large paws covered a great deal of ground quickly with a long stride. It brought him to the Klein that he had known fleetingly back in the original Empire. This wolf wasn’t as short as most, but the fanged wolf still had some five inches on him. Having mastered the art of not looking down on those that stood shorter than him, the Titan would arrive before the shorter wolf and let his stride fall to a stop. He stretched out his right forepaw, and bowed low over it deference to his better. “You called for me, your Grace?” he said, leading to the question of how he might please the other. The howl had been a challenge, and Sirius was weary of what that might mean. Did he expect him to fight the other wolf? “If a spar is your desire, I am unworthy of the honour, but will do as you bid.” he said, caution in his tone. “Unworthy as you are dog I need to hone my abilities and strengthen myself to best serve the empire.” Without another word Rosemary lunged at the male, aiming to strike low and bump the hard plane of his right shoulder blade against Seer’s clavicle hoping to wind him as Rosemary attempted to catch him off guard. As Rosemary surged forward his jaws parted seeking to sink his lower fangs into his windpipe while the top set of fangs sought to grasp at his thick neck, attempting to hold him in a strangling clench. Rosemary’s right paw lifted as he surged forward, shielding his own chest while his back paws remained equally parted his toes sinking into the ground and his white tail flashing out behind him like a banner for balance. Sirius braced himself for the onslaught of his opponent, turning his head at the last moment, so that Rosemary's jaws might fall upon the scruff to the side of neck, rather then his throat itself. As the battle began in earnest, the cry of a culture sounded from above them, as Marshall circled the fighting warriors, looking for a chance to enter into the combat if his master needed him. Even with part of his neck caught, the large beast had room to turn his head back to the man, and attempted to scrap his elongated fangs against the man's cheek. He held back a little barely wishing to draw blood, in case he incurred the wrath of the other wolf. With his opponent in his grasp his right forepaw attempting to lift to bring it down on Sirius’ left forepaw in an attempt to sprain his toes. He attempted to toss his head to his left to worsen his grasp on him while his back legs surged forward to bump their chests together and push the male back hopefully making him lose his balance in the process. Overhead the vulture circled but he knew better than to fear intervention from the beast while he was a Klein and the other man an upjumped slave. He made a mental note to talk to his sister about the male and would see that he was sufficiently punished hould he attempt to hurt him in earnest. He needed to do without looking like he wasn’t giving up, and was still giving it his best. He was reluctant to even try and win, but feared that anything less than a serious bout would anger the Klein. His bite scrapped the cheek of his opponent, and he finished the attack well before it could reach his eye. He almost shivered at the thought of doing irreparable damage to the man, he might as well just take his own life then and there, if that happened. He grunted as the mans paw stepped on his own, digging his own toes in deeper and taking in, rather than risk losing his balance. He pulled on Sirus’s neck scruff, and Seer gave him only a small amount of movement, and when the smaller wolf’s chest collided with the titan, Seer didn’t move an inch. Instead he aimed to bite the man over his ear, and if his attack landed, he would attempt to pull his head to the side with his fangs. His chest he pushed heavily against the smaller brute, in retaliation for his own attempt at shoving.
