A tan coydog with only slightly darker brindling pads into the midst of the crowd. A crowd which, unsubtley, moves quickly away from his raggedy form. He seems to have... mange, or maybe a particularly bad infestation of fleas, because his fur is exceedingly thin in places, completely gone in others, and he has scabs from scratching. He plops down in the middle of the group to indulge in a vigorous scratching that has him nearly falling over from the strenuous scritching before flailing back to his paws. He blinks around at the wolves, then seems to pick two at complete random, MIACH and BASILIA. "Hey, guys," he says, his eyes darting between the two of them in a manner that might have fit quite well on a guy selling fake Rolexes. "I heard you guys were looking to do this contest, right? Well, let's go over - " He stops again for another vigorous scratching, this time actually falling over from the intensity. He pushes himself back to his paws. "Right, right, let's... over here." He slinks over to a ring made of stones pushed into the ground in a circle. "Make sure you don't step outside of the circle. That's an automatic forfeit. Fight as long as you want to, but I'll be picking the winner. Right then, get to it," he added to MIACH.

The hefty male stepped into the right as he had done a few times before. Eyes raked over his opponent with a cool neutrality. He did not particularly enjoy hurting females but it seemed a certain fire was flickering beneath his blood red gaze. The Praetor desire for blood was very much within his own veins and all this fighting was pumping adrenaline through his form. A gentle grin could be seen as he lowered his large head in a simple bow towards Bas. "Good luck." Perhaps it was a taunt or a mere just positive words of encouragement. Nevertheless, it was time to fight. Miach lowered himself into a dense fighting stance. Head lowered with tail aligning with his spine. Lips curled up and eyes narrowed. Weight distributed and paws evenly spread from one another. With that, the male charged forward at the female. Massive paws hit the earth as if war drums were filling the air. Miach aimed to charge head on with his opponent. He attempted to slam the center of his chest into the center of her chest. Since was lowered with knees and elbows bent the movement could be easily done, unless his opponent moved out of the way. Her first fight had ended in a loss and that didn’t sit well with Basilia. Losing a fight was something she never wanted to do. Winning was everything to her and then some. Entering the ring she found her opponent to be another male, she wasn’t seeing that many females so far and that disappointed her. It meant that Boreas had a lack of feisty females and feisty females made things so much more interesting in Basilia’s eyes. Her opponent even said good luck, as if she needed it. When the fight was to start she saw the male begin to run at her with his chest presented. This made it all to clear to Basilia the male’s intentions. As he got closer Basilia jumped up leaving her hind legs on the ground and lifting her front legs in the air. The goal was to wrap her front legs around the males’ neck as he rammed into her. Miach's first opponent had been a female and it seemed his second was as well. Though, it was clear if the femmes decided to enter into the tournament they were interested in fighting. It made him feel less bad for assaulting his opponents. By nature he was no killer nor psycho like his dad. But fighting was something he expressively enjoyed. Maybe it was that bad Praetor blood haunting his veins or a mere predatory need to be the dominant male. Either way, the tournament was a good way to get out some of that pent of aggression. As Miach charged he witnessed his opponent lifted up front legs up in hope of engulfing him into a close 'bear hug.' The male was swift to slow his hefty steps before launching upward as well. His front two paws left the earth and he aimed to return her hug with one of his own. His massive front paws aimed to slam against the tops of her shoulders. If he was successful they would be intertwined, standing on hind legs, and dancing to defeat one another. Miach was sure to keep his lips curled upward in a snarl, eyes narrowed, and ears flat now that they were face to face. Hind paws dug into the dirt below to ensure balance while in such a strange position. Basilia found herself in quite the awkward position. Them both standing on their hind legs almost embracing each other. Basilia thought about how she could use this to her advantage and came to the conclusion that if she pushed hard enough she could push him out of the ring. She dug her hind paws into the ground to give her the extra support she needed and put all of her effort towards shoving the man backward and out of the ring. As much as Basilia tried she couldn’t get the male out of the ring before the judge called it. That was it, Basilia was out of the running for this bracket. She still had the maim fights to go, but this made her angry. She hadn’t won at all so far, winning was important. If she couldn’t prove her dominance over these wolves then how was she meant to be seen as higher than them. She knew she was better than everyone here, but she had to prove it. Fighting was the only way she knew how to prove things, so that meant she had to step up her game. Basilia backed off from the other man and left the ring.
