Firefly Festival
An enchanting sight can be seen floating just off the Eastern coast of Boreas. Lighting up a path across the sea - a long string of makeshift jars filled with fireflies guides the way to the Ibis Islands. If one follows the dimly lit waterway all the way to Ibis Island, they will come upon the Firefly Festival. A variety of non-wolves seem to have set up more firefly lanterns on the ground, in the trees, and on makeshift stalls along the island. Each path leads to a different host and a different activity.
At the end of the path, a stall with a mysterious cloaked merchant beckons you. You can't see its face, but something glimmers behind the darkness of its cloak. “Welcome to the Firefly Festival. We have prepared many fun activities for the night.” The figure gestures to each booth in turn. “We have a fishing derby, an island race, a firefly catching contest, a treasure hunt, and a prize tent,” the voice explains. “At each event, you may collect tickets which you can later trade me for rare goods.” He holds out a handful of glowing tickets which, upon further inspection, seem to be individual leaves with glowing firefly guts carefully spread over them.
“The festival is concluded when the last of the fireflies die out and the night goes dark. At that time, come back and see me for your reward.”
The Event
Introducing.. our first summer festival, the Firefly Festival! This event will last two weeks, starting on July 22nd, 12am Ardent time and ending on August 4th, 12am Ardent time. You'll be allowed to bring three characters to the festival, but no more. Every single event can be completed by each of your attending characters. Along with a variety of events your characters can participate in, keep an eye out for random periods of boosted gems throughout the festival!
The events you can participate in are as follows:
Fishing Derby
Island Race
Firefly Catching Contest
Treasure Hunt
And finally, the most exciting of all... the Prize Booth!
