She didn't tell Rhyme where she was going exactly all she knew was that his raven was perched on her back. She was showing more and more, she could go into labor any day now. She needed to see her mother and her only guide was the raven on her back. It had guided her to the border, and the nose blind dame was glad for it. It even gave a croak to her when she should stop. Her tail tucked as she thought of who might come to her call. She knew of Valentine from her mother's stories and such. He could likely answer, or even Rhyme's half brother. But she hoped they wouldn't mind to leave her and her mother be for some time.

Her mother. The thought brought a wag to her tail. She hadn't seen her in so long. She wondered if she would even recognize her. Or would Rhythm ignore her, since she was not a child she had ever wished to have? She looked back to Rhyme's raven to have it nod and it took wing, easily staying within distance of her eyesight. There was no telling how this would go. She tipped her head and loosed a low quiet howl, asking for her mother. This would be it. Her heart beat hard in her chest. She lowered herself to sit. Her gut stuck noticeably out and she shifted until she was comfortable. She hoped she wouldn't wait long to see her mother.

Rhythm was doing better the last couple of weeks. She was mostly sober, but the pain her body experienced was awful. No matter the salves she made it still hurt, and she was close to having to find more healers to converse with. She needed to find a better solution than the easy one.

She hadn’t expected to hear her daughter’s voice on the border of Legion, and though it pained her Rhythm made her way towards Eulogy. Feather flitted about above her head, calling out any obstacles that might get in the blind wolf’s way. It took some time, but Rhythm eventually arrived. It was easy to smell the pregnancy on her, and Rhythm wasn’t sure if she wanted to celebrate or mourn. It would depend on her daughter.

”Eulogy, congratulations.” She offered warmly as she attempted to embrace the young woman. Too much time had passed since she’d been in her presence.

It didnt feel like it was long before the sight of a figure showed up on the horizon. She pressed her ears back and as patiently as she could waited. She wanted nothing more than to get up and launch into her mother's embrace like she would of had she been a pup. But years had passed since then and it was forever ago that she was small enough to not harm her mother by doing so. So there she was with a raven overhead, awaiting her mother on the border.

Though as soon as she was on the border she made to press into her mother's embrace as carefully as she could. Her tail was swaying behind her in ways it would never do for anyone except for her mother. The words from her mother brought a smile to her face. At least she wasnt about to act like Rhyme had most likely. "Thank you Mom." at least someone was happy for her about the litter. Even if it was a rather large one. "I missed you so much." She didn't have to be afraid to speak with her mother like she did strangers.

Eulogy returned her embrace lovingly as her words spoke true her feelings towards the little ones growing within her womb. She sounded overjoyed, and Rhythm would be too. Her movements were stiff with the advancing arthritis as mother held tight to daughter. ”I’ve missed you too. I’m so glad you are safe and happy.” She kissed Eulogy on the cheek as she stepped back and smiled softly. ”Does your brother know you’re here?” She didn’t think Rhyme was with her, nor did it seemed she had a guard besides the raven. Dark ears pressed to her head as she prayed Eulogy stayed safe travelling while so heavily pregnant.
