it had been too easy. some would consider this to be a warning sign; Huntington saw it as potential. there was no reason to lie to the woman; she had been nothing but generally pleasant, yet the girl always tried to sway someone in her favor. there was also no need to manipulate her, but the girl was terribly bored. she wanted to know how much she could get away with, and Deity provided her with some amusement. "thank you, Deity" her voice swam with gratitude as she addressed the woman's back, calling after her.
watching as she exited the girl's swamp, the witch would rise and depart further in. yes, she would see her soon, else the woman was useless to future plans. Huntington did not know what else to ask of the oddly named being, but there was always something. she was good at pulling at those heart strings of her's. maybe something else could be gained - an efficient little herb gatherer... a pawn in a larger scheme... the potential was endless. "fool" a cruel smirk crossed her features as she, too, vanished.
