Two tigers killed, and an angry, grumpy, tired titan was hauling the body of not one, but two large tigers through the woods. He was growling between his mouthful, and gave off the vibe of a male on the verge of losing his temper. He just wanted to get these damn feathers home and think of a new way to get pillows. He was dreaming about curling up in his den in the comfortable folds of his buffalo coat. He was scratched up from his bouts with the tigers, and knew Zee must be feeling about the same. He wanted to get her checked out, and then curl up peacefully with her… even if that meant he couldn’t fall asleep. Fate continued to throw wrenches in their wheels, as the two wolves shuffled onwards, the scent of the dead around them would encourage another type of creature. The bear snuffled towards them, curious about the things they carried. The must make for a strange smell, with the dead tiger mates, and the bag of feathers from all sorts of breeds of birds. As Sirius released their follow, and stopped to look towards it, an exasperated, frustrated sound escaped him. “Can’t a man catch a break? I just wanted to get some damn pillows!” he snapped at the bear. Even as the wolf spoke, the bear began to charge. "Speech"

This was the worst day ever. Zee wanted to collapse into a puddle then and there and sleep for the rest of the day, but of course that was crazy talk because the two could not catch a break at all. Sirius dropped the corpse and Zee wanted to throw her head into the dirt as she realized his frustration. "Sirius, I'm tired." She complained softly. "I can't take on another one. Please, abandon your ego for just this time and lets leave." He didn't get to respond, for it was then the bear charged. Zee was not going to abandon Sirius no matter how tired and sore she might be. She ran forward to intercept the charge, though frankly she was unwilling to put her body between the bear and her titan to take the hit. Instead, she aimed to jump through the gap between Sirius and the beast, so that she might draw it's attention to a smaller and easier prey. With any luck, they could keep each other safe long enough to find a way out. "Speech"

Zee’s soft pleading hit his ears and his heart hard, but it wasn’t like it was his damn fault! He didn’t call all these beasts here, and he sure wasn’t expecting this trail of destruction that seemed to be following them around.

Zee raj forward as he did, and then she jumped between him and the beast, catching the attention of the bear as it made a lazy swipe at her already departing form. Sirius had no intention of engaging it for long, he wanted to find a way out. He didn’t think he and Zee could take on a fully grown bear. He just needed to intercept its first charge, and then find an exit.

As the bear turned slightly, following the movements of the smaller wolf, and Sirius ran at its other side, snapping a jaw at its leg, before fleeing again. He was large and heavy, unlike his quick little Zee, but that didn;t make him foolish enough to think he was anywhere near the weight level of a bear.

Sirius did not respond to her pleading and Zee hoped that she could muster the energy to aid him in this fight. It was too much too soon, and her adrenaline could only help her go so far. Thankfully, it seemed as if Sirius was not looking for the kill either. He charged at it and then darted away, and Zee watched as the bear swiped towards his fleeing form. Zee ran forward a second time, coming at it from the side as it moved to give chase on her titan. Her small form leapt and her shoulder impacted hard against the bear's rib cage. It was not particularly damaging, though it succeeded in causing the bear to turn on her and away from Sirius. As soon as it's attention pulled back to her, Zee once more moved to speed away. Each attempt brought the bear more frustration and less speed, and the two were able to gain more distance between attacks. Hopefully soon they'd tire it enough to be able to flee to safety. "Speech"

Sirius was not foolish enough to think he could end this one, even as he harried it, he considered their escape. Its attention was on him for the moment, and then he saw the little blue form of Zee as she darted at the beast and knocked it in the rib cage. It turned her and Sirius darted in again, nipping once more at its leg. He tried to make it as deep as he could, and close to the tendons. He felt his teeth graze, and then he was forced to pull away once more. He was close, he just needed another try. Zee distracted it once more, and Sirius went for the same spot, and with a victorious cry he found something snap and he bear stumbled.

“Run’ he clarified. To Zee, swiping the bag of feathers off the floor as he moved, and leaving the tigers with a mournful sigh. No doubt they would be torn apart by the bear long before he could retrieve them. Running with his head held as high as he could to keep the bag away from his feet, he likely looked comical. No matter. He wasn’t leaving these damn things behind, they had caused him enough grief.

They continued their dance, each moving in while the other moved out to distract and bother the bear to their best efforts. It's movements slowed and struggled further with each turn and swipe and retreat. They weren't accomplishing much, up until Sirius made a solid tear upon it's leg. The bear roared in fury and Zee skidded to a halt in her next charge, ducking low to avoid a swipe from it's massive paws. Sirius called out to her and she would not even consider disobeying him, she turned swiftly and began a full-on sprint away from the creature. Calling upon the last of her adrenaline and energy to do so. Thankfully Sirius was ahead of her already, comically lifting the bag high as he ran. Good thing too, because Zee sure as hell would have left them there. "Speech"
