Everyone was sound asleep except for her. She was unable to sleep for some reason, she couldn't figure out why. The noises of everyone else sleeping was bothering her, irritating her because she felt she couldn't hear herself think. She knew better then to leave the den, but the snoring and breathing of her family was driving her nuts! Quietly she would slip past the sleeping forms and head out of the den. Her pale form not moving far from the den entrance before she sat down with a light sigh.
This had been her first time out of the den at night and she found her eyes didn't need to adjust as much as they did during the day and she didn't feel like the moonlight bugged her pale skin. In fact this autumn night was cool and refreshing, quiet and clear. It was one of the type's of nights that one would want to be out in. The calm stillness of the air was enough to ease her, she was able to finally hear her own thoughts and the silence was.... welcoming. The gears within her little mind began to turn faster as her bright green eyes would look around taking in what the world looked like at night time. She wasn't far from the den and it would be an easy retreat if she felt threatened, but for now she let her eyes take in everything around her, her stub tail wagging lightly in happiness.
