Rhyme wasn't sure he made the right decision, but as his paws flew over Abaven territory he had to believe in himself. Poem didn't return within him, but as soon as he realized the danger Rhyme raced towards his home. Poem would remain out in the world, searching for her sister, while he returned to make sure the rest of the family was safe. He didn't want to think about the lava spilling forth and consuming the ones he held most dear.

Shaye was already gathering the troops. Most of the pack seemed to have gathered by the rapids. He didn't hear where they were going but he made it in time to carry. Relief surged through him, knowing they were safe so far. His tall dark form appeared beside Eulogy as jis blue and lavender gaze touched on each wolf as they went. He felt his heart lurch when he couldn't find Samara.

He grit his teeth and grabbed hold of Void so the pup might be placed on his back. He looked to Polt next, "Up you go." he told her before placing her next to her brother. "Where are we going? He asked as his huge frame followed after his alpha daughter.

Everything was happening so quickly. From the corner of his eye he watched as a few more wolves responded to Shaye's call, all of them looking just as panicked as he was sure he did. The fact that they were being forced to leave their home was unfair, but he knew keeping everyone safe mattered a lot more than staying here. He listened to Shaye's instructions carefully, almost surprised at the instructions she barked out. Everyone was to grab a pup and ensure they made the journey safety, and he was to make sure the pups stayed safe - and to find a few warriors to help him. His head was spinning, but his adrenaline was high and he began to act before he had time to reconsider it. "Twig, help me with the pups once we get there," he glanced her way and commanded her, his voice sounding far stronger than he realized. He didn't know her well, but it was hard to keep track of who had been told to do what. He'd find another wolf to help them once they got there safely. Most of the kids seemed to be accounted for, though Rhyme was carrying one on his back. That'd be tricky, and leave room for him to either fall or scramble away, if he was scared enough. Hurriedly he moved toward Rhyme, snatching up Void gently by his scruff and bringing him close, ready to scoop him up again when they were given the word to start leaving.. and hopefully that'd be soon.

There was so much going on. Ears fell to his skull as he hunkered down low, listening as wolves he only knew by face from the meeting spit out orders and silently followed them. Fear from the earth rumbling and the volcano erupting behind them, he didn’t dare argue when the tall wolf stepped over to him. His ears fleetingly came forward to listen to what he had to say. Brandr was his name, he smiled faintly and nodded slightly in response to the name as he continued to speak. He was taking him to safety. To an island no less! Tail that was tucked between his legs wagged faintly as he nodded one more time in understanding. Brandry would grab him by the scruff and started running. Spirit could see a panicked look on his mothers face and he whined, calling out for her…hoping she was coming with him. He didn’t want to lose his siblings or mom!
