Pyrrhic ground his teeth in frustration as he gazed up at a tree he swore he had just walked by. He was certain of it, but a sniff at its base confirmed it. Yep. He had definitely been here before. Twice. He was lost. It was about time to come to terms with that. This wasn't like the time he'd gotten lost the maze as a pup. This time he felt it. It felt real. As a pup with his head full of stories and righteous godness he had been so confident, so sure he would just waltz right out of the woods. But now? Now he was just tired. Drained. Hela wanted to explore the south, she wanted to expand her knowledge of any other lands that could be apart from the one she called her home. But that would be what she would say if asked, to mask her true intentions away from those she didn't want to notify of them. She left Ashen's boundaries without telling no one, she didn't feel the need for that. And you'll ask, what were the true reasons for her being here this far from home. Well, she was upon the mission to get knowledge of any pack that could be down here, with political interest she may find, she may want as spoiled as the rest of the Klein, but , she had enough with her diplomatic skills, skills she often used to move things and wolves as she saw fit her desires. Now at said hemisphere, her path brought her to what seemed to be a messed place with thorns around. But she didn't dare to adventure herself there. Who would be that fool to be on there? She wasn't going to be that. Kleins weren't that fool or did they? But soon as the wind stroke her face, the scent of a wolf was detected, coming from the vine, and seemingly it was close. There as she stared, she was considering going on there. Why? Well, maybe if she helped whoever was there, maybe some benefit could come with it. And with that thinking, she marked the place she entered by so she could find the scent later, and with careful and agility she entered, trying to dodge the thorns that came to her way. Pyrrhic's hackles rose as the sound of passage reached his ears. The steps were fairly heavy and as such he knew whatever moved through the briers wasn't one of the many birds or squirrels who had gone about their business as he wandered in circles through the maze of thorns. He stood poised, ready for whatever the situation would evolve into after the large animal took notice of him, and listened to the approaching steps.

His tension was unfounded, it seemed, as the shape of a mortal wolf emerged. She asked him if he needed help and briefly he was ashamed of how pitiful he must look for her to catch onto his need so quickly. The feeling was fleeting, however, as he recognized that now was not the time for pride. He did need help. It was to his benefit to accept it.

The young god nodded, then said, ”It seems I'm lost; can't make heads or tails of these paths. Do you know the way out?”
